"Rom was lovely and large. Staff that checked us in were great. Bar/restaurant staff a little less so. Wouldn't let us sit at a table to have a drink and think about ordering. Insisted we sit at the bar. I gave a sore knee and couldn't. So we had to sit outside. It's covered and warm but all the smokers go outside and that was yucky"

"The Lodge is situated within a short distance from Donegal Center, near shops, drugstore, music center, etc...elegant building, comfortable, spotless, well furnished rooms. I had a late check in, midnight, and the night porter kindly welcomed me. The restaurant Blas offers full breakfast and delicious lunch and dinner options."

"Good location with the cheapest parking we found in Ireland. It’s an older property but reasonably priced for what you get. Being a guest house we could hear guests in other rooms and the floor boards do creek. Served a nice breakfast."

"Fairly convenient. But felt like I was staying at someone's home rather than a guest house if that makes sense - No signage out front or anything to identify it as a guest house. Mary was feiendly, front of house very clean. Bathroom looked amazing, but shower ran between scorching hot and freezing cold, very difficult to shower in. Please buy new towels...the ones in the room once wet smelt terrible. I couldn't use them and had to put them in the closet overnight because the smell was...

"Depending on how much you pay, this is a good place to stay if looking for somewhere near Donegal Town with parking facility. As a guest house it mainly has classic decor/furniture style and although it feels homely, maintenance needs were evident. Security is relatively basic for a quiet location out of town, particularly room doors operated by key alone. Breakfast service is good as were the staff helpful and welcoming."
