"The photos and description bore zero resemblance to the reality see photos - I suspect they were AI generated. There was no cottage! It was a run down mobile home with a dirty outside bathtub. It was damp and smelled of smoke, with a non working fridge and no smoke alarm. The only positive was that the shower pressure and temperature was ok. I have reported the listing to expedia so hopefully they will take it down ASAP."

"The room smelt very badly of damp and the walls were very stained. The smell was so bad it caused breathing problems. I was unable to stay in it as it was causing me to wheeze. The owner wasn't present and so j had to wait for his return. He said he was unable to provide another room and would refund the money....I'm still waiting, that was 3 weeks or more ago"
