- Guest is responsible for unplugging the lights from the outlet at the end of the dock before entering the water between dusk and dawn

Fantastic house!

This is one of the nicest homes weā€™ve rented in 20 years of vacation rentals. Very true to the photos. Spacious, clean, well-stocked, and great amenities. Beautiful lakefront location!

Perfect!! We go to Lake Anna every year. We stayed at this house years ago and Iā€™ve tried to book it every year since but because Iā€™ve procrastinated, I missed it, until this year! This house has everything! We bring our boatā€¦launch it about 5 minutes away and dock it at the boathouse on the property. The yard is good for lawn games. There is a volleyball net. The fire pit is huge with ample seating. The fishing is excellent with the underwater lights. The dock has a TV, speaker, bar seating, a refrigerator, plenty of seats, 2 picnic tablesā€¦ the inside is clean and has everything you needā€¦really the only house I have stayed at that does. The kitchen is fully stocked and has everything for cooking. There are 2 refrigerators. Laundry. The bathrooms have soapā€¦shampooā€¦. Linens are provided. The kids loved the gamesā€¦air hockey; shuffleboard; foosball; ping pong. There is plenty of seating on the deck outside. Iā€™m sure I am missing some of the amenitiesā€¦but, this house has been the best out of all of the houses we have been to, and weā€™ve been to a lot!

Perfect Getaway

The home was beautiful, clean, and well stocked. We enjoyed using the provided kayaks, paddle boards, and canoes during the day and playing games and roasting marshmallows at the fire pit at night. We had great weather, but even if we hadnā€™t, there was plenty to do inside. This was the perfect getaway for our family, and we would love to come back again!

Summer get away

This property is wonderful! Itā€™s nestled back in a cove where you will have total quiet. The house has everything you could ask for, all the dishes and pots/pans and appliances you will need. There is a fridge and wireless speaker down on dock and even inflatables with an inflator. We barely left the lake! We canā€™t wait to go back!

We highly recommend this house!

Weā€™ve been doing August family lake house vacations for six years and everyone agrees: ā€œThis was our best one yet!ā€ The house was amazing. Very clean and well stocked with living items, such as plates/silverware, pots and pans, propane for grille, gas for boat, kayaks and paddle boards, and wood for fire pit. Also, the second large refrigerator/freezer was convenient and extremely valuable when youā€™ve got food for 12 people (8 adults, 4 kids). The location in a quiet area of the lake was great. Can't overstate the serenity of the private side & warm lake water! We spent many hours playing, fishing, floating, and relaxing on the spacious, well-furnished dock. Loved the refrigerator on the dock too! The zero-entry beach perfect for the kids playing and getting the kayaks/paddle boards into and out of the lake and the yard excellent for our ā€œOlympic games.ā€ For downtime, having TVs in every room was great. Also appreciated the games and ping pong table outside. While the listing said the Internet may not be what weā€™re used to in our suburban home, it was solid and supported all our devices. Only one glitch, for some reason we werenā€™t able to put our Sonos on network. The best confirmation as to how much we loved this house is that we rarely left it. Other than a trip to church, pizza & grocery store, and the State Park for hike & lunch, we were very happy to enjoy our time at the house on the lake. I think itā€™s safe to say that weā€™ll be looking to go back someday!

A Wonderful Lake Life Retreat

From the moment we booked this vacation home, the owner was a tremendous help with everything....and that continued through the week of our stay. The house setup is amazing for large families with open concepts both upstairs and downstairs to gather. The kitchen was fully stocked and has the largest island I have ever seen. There was plenty of everything for our group of 16. The dock was amazing....plenty of room, sun and shade, TV/music, tables/chairs for meals/games, fishing rod holders, beautiful peaceful lake with minimal boat traffic. We spent hours just floating in the lake. They also provide a wonderful "honor system" service of gas for the boat we brought with us. We were able to fill up several times right at the dock and at the end of the week we filled up the gas cans at the local gas station. The owner provided canoes, kayaks, paddleboard for guest use. We highly recommend this house and these owners to work with for your rentals in the future. This house is located on the private side of the lake which comes with so many advantages.

Amazing outdoor space!

We just stayed at Lake Life and the kids had a blast! The outdoor space is so great for young families. I loved the shades beach area, the huge dock area complete with a fridge and lots of shaded seating. Then the walkway to the house was super convenient going to the deck at the house and indoor patio. We really utilized all the outdoor spaces. Inside had a great flow with the open spaces. Also appreciated how all the beds had memory foam which made sleep so much more enjoyable. Keith was also super responsive to all of my many many questions! Thanks for the great stay!

Lake Anna's Finest

What else could you ask for? The view off the deck is great, the quite cove is better and then you have the house that is decked out for anything you could want. We had a blast sitting around the fire pit, playing cornhole in the yard, hanging around the kitchen making food. I feel like you are set up for anything you could need. Sunny day? Enjoy the deck and dock. Rainy day? Enjoy the screened in porch and the covered dock. Kids need entertained? Xbox, air hockey, foosball, etc. This led to a great weekend for us all and we are looking forward to a potential return next year!

Fantastic Place for a family reunion!

This place is even better than listed. We had such a great time here--the canoes and kayak were big hits, as was the fire pit for roasting marshmallows at night. The kitchen was amazingly well stocked with dishes and pots and pans. All the ingredients for a fun filled family vacation. We would love to return some day!

Wonderful Get Away

The property is as described. Bright and spacious main room open space greets you when you open the front door. The kitchen is very complete and workable for more than one cook. The bedrooms are nice size, good mattresses and linens, with good size closets and storage so you can unpack if you like. The lower level has something for everyone. The waterfront area with great sandy beach! Fishing was amazing from the dock. We were a group of six. My husband and I, our daughter and her husband and our 2 and 7 year old grandchildren. The house can accommodate many more but we did not feel overwhelmed by the well designed space. Look forward to returning.

This home is beautiful and has everything!!

What a great week with family and friends in this home! We had 6 adults and 6 teenagers and everyone always had something to do...or nothing if wanted! The home had kayaks, canoes, and paddle boats...the boat house with a tv, speakers, a bar, floats... we brought our boat and it was simple to launch it less than a mile away and dock it at the house! The house had ping pong, shuffle board, air hockey, foosball, and an Xbox 360 with 4 controllers. The kitchen had everything...every time someone realized they forgot something for cooking, it was found in one of the many cabinets or pantry. The fire pit had enough chairs for everyone and was a go to at night for roasting marshmallows. There were several areas to sit outside ...the dock, around.the fire pit, a screened deck, and a large deck with a grill. We didnā€™t have to bring our own sheets or towels like we have had to in the past at other homes on Lake Anna...nice bonus!! The house was immaculate when we arrived. There were several restaurants, a Food Lion, and ABC store 15 minutes away. Perfect place and great location!!

Overall beautiful home and setting. The house is well equipped with everything you need. Soft towels, lots of dishes and cookware with a beautiful kitchen. Minor issues ~propane tank on grill empty, sink disposal not working and the cleaning crew could put some elbow grease into making this home sparkling.
