"We like the fact that John left us fresh flowers and chocolate bars and seltzer water in the fridge. Also He didn't mind That I brought My dog He even left Copies Of To do and places to eat around there. It's a very nice place to stay If you want to get away from everything. I really needed it because 2 years ago August 19th my daughter who was 16 years old took her own life by strangulation using my grooming table. I was a groomer for 30 years and i cant bare to see one. Grooming was my life ....

"We stayed after a concert in the area and it was perfect weather so the stay was pleasant. We did not have a chance to utilize the fire pit or grill but everything was as expected"

"Lovely, immaculately clean place, the river was so serene as we drank coffee on the back porch each morning. The first day I saw a blue heron perched on a river rock!The place offered thoughtful amenities, like a Keurig with a filter and coffee. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, we slept well. We so enjoyed our stay and given that we have family nearby and it's affordable, we hope to book it again!"

"This wonderful place in the nature had the comfort and the soul. My little family of 3 really enjoyed our stay. We saw the hosts and actually had a chance to speak with them - a lovely extremely friendly couple. And we were so grateful that we did because they had the best recommendation on the restaurant which was just perfect. As I said this place has a soul and character. We felt like home."

"The apartment is beautiful with the most attention to detail. We walked each night to the water/restaurants in Newburgh. Communication was quick and timely. We would love to stay here again. The area can get loud at times but we didn't feel unsafe."

"You cannot find a better location! So close to the most amazing hiking in Mohonk Preserve and Minnewaska State Park, and also the quaint town of New Paltz. The house itself is clean, comfortable and very private. Great deck. It has everything you need for a great stay. Would definitely rent it again. The host also was super accessible when I had a question about the AC."

"Unfortunately we had a very short stay, but beautiful area, house was nice, comfortable furnishings, the bed’s head raised, which was wonderful and a nice surprise, and loved the colorful rug. We would return to this adorable, quiet, peaceful, beautiful, rustic place. "

"We had a lovely getaway weekend - the cabin is lovely, had everything we needed, and was super clean. The outdoor space is idyllic, and the sounds of the elusive waterfall make a lovely background. We especially loved the outdoor shower and watching the hummingbirds."

"This house was perfect for 2adults. The property is well maintained and has more amenities than we got around to using. Great nostalgic decor. Fully equipped kitchen with one appliance missing…a dishwasher. Otherwise a very cozy vacation!"
