This hilly area was planted with olive groves ages ago and has remained unchanged to this day. The location in which the town is situated guarantees a quiet and relaxing atmosphere, but for those who feel like visiting the attractions of northwestern Istria, Umag is only a short drive away from Buje. Numerous historical sights, 45km of coastline, Venetian houses and baroque churches are just a sample of what Umag offers its visitors. Near Novigrad and only five kilometers from the coast is the newly opened Aquapark Istralandia, which is suitable for both adults and children. The highlights of the aquapark include various water slides, including the Free Fall slide and the Family Rafting slide.
