Great location in Buffalo
We stayed for a hunting trip, and this was great since it was close to the downtown restaurant/bar we went to. We had a trailer and UTV which we couldn't park right at the apartment, but there was parking very close which was good. Communication with the owners was phenomenal. We'll stay again on our next hunt!

Buffalo Trip
This was a beautiful place to stay. Loved the history and atmosphere of this building. Cynthia was awesome. Great communication. Will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Buffalo. Thank you so much.

Cynthia's place was clean and comfortable with old school charm. In the heart of Buffalo with easy walking access to restaurants and the ice cream shop :-). Cynthia was very helpful.

Neat hotel, but not comfortable
Cute what has been done with this old building. Really neat to see the history of it and the town. Unfortunately, the queen bed was very uncomfortable. Neither my husband or I could sleep on it. He ended up on the couch and I ended up on a bunk bed. Not a good nights sleep after a very busy and tiring day.

Thank you for leaving us a review. I’m so sorry you and your husband didn’t think our mattress was comfortable. Normally folks say our beds are super comfortable. We sure did enjoy having you, safe travels.

Great fun
This was a really fun place to stay. It's definitely different than your normal hotel! Our rooms were a great combination of modern amenities (kitchen with all the supplies you need and a modern bathroom), with a very old-west feel (large windows with drapes, wooden floors and staircases....) The owners were friendly, communicative and responsive. I don't travel to Buffalo, WY much, but I would definitely stay here again.

Fun Historic Experience

Thank you for reviewing our converted vacation Suites. We are happy you enjoyed your stay. I was quite surprised to hear you thought the space was small. I must say this is the first review claiming that this suite is small and not spacious. Maybe our two bedroom Buffalo Suite would be a better fit for you and your son, during your next visit. Great location
Loved the location - right downtown and very close to cute little places to eat and drink. The owner was very accommodating when we requested to stay another night. Easy to find, easy to access.

Nice Family Option in a Cute Town
The Antelope Suite was very clean and comfortable for our family of 5. Buffalo has a very nice downtown area that we look forward to visiting again when covid is over so we can see more.

Family vacation
Everything was wonderful! Exactly as listed. We had a nice time in Buffalo. Many shops were closed Sunday afternoon but open Monday morning. Pie Zanos was great for dinner.

A Beautiful and Historic Setting
Beautiful and very spacious property nestled in the middle of historic Buffalo, WY very close to museums, restaurants and shopping. Cynthia and her husband are both gracious and helpful hosts who went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. I'd go back to Buffalo just to stay at their property again.

Perfect for us, will be back every year
My sons, Grandsons an I have been hunting the Buffalo area for a number of years and have stayed in a variety of places. We finally found our home away from home. Worked out perfect for us and the accommodations were outstanding. Cindy was great, we will be back for every WY hunt we do.

Very spacious suite and really neat building if you are a history buff and nice to be able to do laundry. Largest pool in Wyoming was impressive - too cold to go in when we were there. Music in the park across street when we arrived and the Historic Main Street had a lot of neat shops. Sunday most shops not open so plan accordingly.

A treasure in Buffalo!
What a treasure staying at the Capital Hotel downtown Buffalo. The historic feel was exactly the right fit for us as we learned about the wild west! Clean, comfortable, and spacious was our suite and our only regret was that we couldn't stay longer! Tracy Giza Design

Great Location
wonderful, historic place. Can't beat the location: just steps away from everything, in the heart of downtown. I had a great stay and highly recommend the Capitol Suites.

Comfortable, clean, convenient and friendly service
Cynthia was a great host; making sure we got there OK, and making sure we were settled in OK. The apartment was comfortable, clean and well provisioned for the five people in our family. The AC worked great. The AC units were quiet and efficient. The kitchen was useful since all the restaurants closed early the evening we arrived, so we cooked up a quick spaghetti dinner. The bathroom was clean and functional.
