The Arkansas River runs through town a block away and the downtown park and amphitheater is within earshot. The condo is the newly remodeled second floor of a 1899 built historic building, come enjoy our town and the historic beginning of Colorado mountain living.
The entire second floor and upstairs back deck is available for your stay. There is a full kitchen for cooking meals and an antique clawfoot tub for an historic experience.
There are numerous restaurants and 2 liquor stores within blocks from the front door. Music from the park and neighboring bars can be enjoyed from the back deck, The Arkansas river whitewater park and boat ramp is a block away for those who are boaters. The location is very much downtown Salida. We are right next door to Bensons Tavern and the VIctoria Tavern is across the street. If you are excited about being in the thick of things then this is the right place , if you are a light sleeper then maybe not.
