3500 sq feet! VERY SPACIOUS and PERFECT for FAMILIES! Come enjoy the MTNS

This family friendly home is located 8 miles from BV. You will enjoy wonderful privacy as you relax on the back deck with a view of the national forest that borders the 2 acre property. Our residence backs up to BLM land. You can hike right to the Colorado Trail from our backyard. Fully equipped gourmet kitchen, four spacious bedrooms, cozy radiant heat flooring,office space, WIFI, Netflix/Hulu/Disney +, washer and dryer, grill. For skiers, the oversized garage will hold all your equipment and you will still have room to park two cars inside.


This is a wonderful fit for families or small groups. We think your family and friends will appreciate the king sized bed on the main level of the house. Retreat upstairs to the master suite that has a king sized bed, jetted tub, and shower. This floor also has a bunk bed which the kids will love. Another full bathroom with tub is adjacent to this room. For older kids, there are twin beds on the main level. Whether you hang out on the back deck, watch a movie, relax by the fireplace in the living room, or play games in the sun room there is plenty of space to make a ton of memories!

There is so much to explore in BV and the surrounding areas. All year round you will find something fun to do. Riding ATVs, whitewater rafting adventures, fly fishing, kayaking, mountain biking, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, skiing, horseback riding, hiking and more.

Every year a group of us comes to Colorado for climbing etc. This is our first time staying here and we absolutely loved it. It is a gorgeous, spacious house, set up against BLM forest. When we first arrived, we joked we were going to cancel the activities of our week and just stay at the house! Every detail was perfect.

Can't wait to return

We celebrated Thanksgiving with our kids and grandchildren and had a wonderful time. It's spacious, very kid-friendly, and beautiful. The kitchen is well stocked (which helps when preparing a turkey dinner). We saw a deer family pass by outside every day. There were several inches of snow, but that didn't slow us down. We can't wait to return during the summer and enjoy this special place even more.

Amazing family home!

We had an incredible vacation with this home as our homebase. I’ve never stayed at a better equipped rental property and we have rented a lot of vacation homes. Candace has thought of everything you might need, even supplying items to fill gaps we forgot! She is communicative and helpful whenever we needed something. Our only challenge was not knowing the house didn’t have AC and it was hot when we were there! But we learned this is very common for Colorado, we just didn’t even know to ask. We’re from the southeast so living without AC required learning how to best utilize fans and windows, but Candace was so quick to respond with helpful tips and the 2nd floor cooled down after sunset! The main floor was always comfortable and it was the hottest week of the year while we were there. We loved the convenience to town and the area allowed for so many big adventures as a family! We can’t wait to come back!

The host was very responsive, the place was super comfortable, clean and well supplied. No complaints. Very quiet and peaceful. If you are looking for comfortable and close to nature, good place to stay.

Perfect!

This house is absolutely beautiful and immaculate. It's stocked with everything you could possibly need. Very private but close to town. Colorado trail is right behind house - far enough that the occasional hikers cant see you, but visible through the trees. We will want to go back!

Perfect Covid getaway

This home, aside from being immaculate and stunning, provided a wonderful retreat from the stressful Covid ridden urban atmosphere. It was easily accessible but felt very secluded. Though there are other homes in the area, and cannot see another house from this one. Perfect mountain setting with a convenient short drive to any necessities that you might need in nearby charming buena vista. Will absolutely book this again!

Can't say enough...

About this incredible property! Fabulous property tucked away from rest of the world. Clean, quiet and gorgeous. Inside and out! A cook's kitchen, owner's private suite and more than enough room for everyone to find their quiet place among the Collegiate Peaks of Colorado. Candace made everything so easy and was more than accommodating when our schedule changed. We will definitely be renting again, as it is in the perfect location to reach 3 very nice SXS riding areas within 1 hour. When your not hitting the trails hang out on the back porch and watch the jackrabbits, squirrels, chipmunks and hummingbirds preparing for their day. Truly a vacation for the books!

Small castle of your very own !

This Home and property is Beautiful ! Its like a really small castle that is appointed wonderfully. The host is very gracious and accommodating.. I high;y recommend staying here.. its a treat..
