"Staff were excellent. Breakfast was very good and service not too long. The only thing that lets the hotel down is some aspects of the rooms have not been very well maintained. Shower cubicle door hanging off, no cold water but scalding hot water in one of the rooms. Windows not fitting very well and can't be closed or opened. But only used as a base, so overall satisfactory."

"Very comfortable and cosy room, quiet at nighttime. We enjoyed a lovely breakfast and it was a convenient location to visit the coast only a short drive away."

"We had a sea view room. The weather was pretty hot and the room did not have enough ventilation due to the window safety. 4ins was not enough! So we spent as much time out of the room as we could.."

"We liked most of it the bedroom was tiny but we managed even though we had a wheelchair. Staff were fantastic, couldnt do enough for you. Breakfast superb."

"Night manager was very rude. No air con in the room and it was so hot. Sheets were dirty. Seats torn. Room not modernised since 70s/80s. Breakfast supposed to finish at 10:00. They told us they had packed it all away at 9:00. Won’t return."
