One of 5 apartments in a strategic position to discover the center of Budapest on foot, 1 minute from Via Vaci (pedestrian area), from the Danube with the panoramic Elizabeth Bridge, from the vital Ferenciek Square: public transport hub between metro line 3 and bus .
A few meters away there are two supermarkets open from 8.00 to 22.00, 2 banks with ATM service, pharmacy and bakery, bars and several restaurants.
The apartment is housed in a historic building from 1889 called "Dreher Palota": you will be fascinated by its facades and splendid neo-Renaissance style courtyard. Climbing the particular staircase will seem to relive the atmosphere of Budapest in the late 1800s. .

Inside, the high ceilings and original parquet floors blend well with the contemporary furnishings, creating a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere.

Superbe location idéalement située

Tout ce qui concerne l'appartement à déjà été déjà écrit dans les excellents commentaires précédents. Mais il y a un plus, c'est Stefano est un super hôte qui est aux petits soins avec ses vacanciers, toujours très réactif et de bon conseil et il parle aussi parfaitement Français ce qui est un vrai plus! Perfect for two.

My son and I were in Budapest for the Formula 1 Races held outside the city. We stayed several days more just to explore. The location is perfect! Easy access to the transportation system and never waited longer than a few minutes for a taxi when needed. Easy walk to restaurants and food shopping. The apartment was clean, quiet, and well-equipped. Our host Stefano provided everything we needed to check in on our own and even provided a link to some suggested shopping locations and restaurants. The "WhatsApp", application is best for text and calls with the host but is not required.

Fantastic location

From the beginning till the end of my stay Stefano was the most pleasant, helpful property owner. Apartment was clean and well stocked, location is just unbeatable. It was quite easy to find my way. Stefano was just a text away. Thank you very much! I will definitely stay at this apartment again.

Beautiful apartment in budapest

This apartment has been refurbished beautifully! ! It is as beautiful as pictured. It was very quiet, which was amazing since it’s off a pretty busy thoroughfare. The entry going into the apartment is, however, not attractive; however, I’m not sure the host can do anything about that. The apartment is pretty well located, but Budapest sights are pretty spread out so can’t walk to some attractions from there. Two other things to mention: for me personally, the interior of the space was too dark. Again, that’s just how the apartment is situated. The host was very responsive to the one question we had about the AC unit, which is located in the living area. As a result, the living room was always cooler than the bedroom, but we were comfortable while sleeping.

Everything about my stay was outstanding. The apartment is exactly as pictured, very well kept, and modern. The location is between two metro lines and is extremely well suited to explore the city. The apartment was exactly as per the listing. It was too hot when we arrived but we solved that by turning down the radiators. The bed was comfortable and the shower excellent. Stylish and Comfortable

Stefan's apartment was stylishly outfitted and comfortable. The king bed was comfortable (a "must" for this older couple) and the apartment was well-located and clean. Although on a busy street, there was no noise. Right on the metro line a couple of blocks from the Elisabeth bridge, we were in easy walking distance from nice restaurants and the excursion boats. Plenty on hanging and drawer space added to our convenience, as did the LIDL grocery about a block away (thanks, Stefan for the starter set of Nespresso pods. Self check-in was easy and info about the apartment was clear.

Besser geht es nicht...

Diese Wohnung war wirklich toll! Schön und geschmackvoll eingerichtet (man musste nicht erst lange Ikea-Dekokitsch wegräumen), dabei gemütlich und praktisch. Alles, was man so im Alltag braucht, war vorhanden: von Küchenutensilien, Vorräten (Kaffee, Klopapier) bis zum Bügelbrett/Waschmaschine. Es gab vor allem gutes Licht, egal ob im Bett oder auf dem Sofa, es gab immer eine echte Leselampe. Erstaunt hat mich auch die Ruhe. Von der Stadt hörte man hier gar nichts, dabei kann man nicht zentraler wohnen...als Ferienwohnung eigentlich nicht zu übertreffen.

Gorgeous apartment and a Perfect base for exploring

As a frequent user of VRBO, I can honestly say this is one of the nicest places I’ve rented. Great location close to metro lines/trams and lots of great information provided about the area. The bed is very comfortable, the water pressure wonderful, and it’s so nice to have a washing machine. Stephano was an excellent host, easy to communicate with, and very welcoming. We’ve already said we will rent from him next time we are in the area!!!!

Excellente semaine

Appartement très bien situé, fonctionnel, propre et très bien équipé. Il est proche de tous les commerces et stations de métros. Le propriétaire Stefano est très réactif et à l'écoute. Il parle français c'est donc un plus. L'accueil de Karem est top également. Très bonne semaine en famille, avec enfants de 12 et 9 ans. Je le recommande vivement et n'hésiterai pas à y retourner.

Great location

Had a great experience in beautiful Budapest. The property is ideally located very close to everything only a 5 minute walk to the Danube and the Elizabeth bride across to Pest. Giovanni provided an excellent introduction to the property and was very helpful in arranging a taxi back to the airport for us. The only negative was that the building as a whole was a bit tired even though the apartment itself has been completely remodeled and is in excellent condition.

Quite and charming apartment

It looks exactly like the pictures. Quiet and charming apartment. We were with a baby and it was very comfortable for us. We received a baby crib for him. A single minus for us there was no bathtub /baby bath so you need to improvise

Great Location; Lots of Dpace

We enjoyed this condo near 2 metro lines in the heart of Budapest. The best amenities were the amount of space for a 1bed, 1bath condo in an older building, as well as the location and the shower. Some things we were a bit disappointed with were: 1) very little counter space in the bathroom; 2) lack of air movement in the bedroom. The air conditioner is in the lounge space and mostly did not make it to the bedroom. 3) although there is a no smoking sign on the front door to the building, and the owners ensured their guests are non-smoking, there was second-hand smoke that made its way into the bedroom each night. It disrupted my sleep the first 4 nites until I gave up and moved to the futon in the lounge, where it was cooler, too. Landlord said he could not fix that. 4) out of the landlord’s control was all the construction going on both just outside the building on the street as well as in the interior common courtyard. Noisy and a bit inconvenient. Also the water was turned off for a portion of one day. And there was maintenance on one of the Metro lines on the weekend which caused us confusion and rerouting those days. We still recommend your considering this condo along with others of a similar price and location. Would we rent this unit again? Not sure...
