"My family of 4 stayed here for 5 nights, and we absolutely LOVED this property! The house is beautiful, very clean, and had such a fun Maine theme! Highlights for us were definitely the hot tub and game room. Our kids loved the game room so much, they kept begging us to come home early each night! (Arcade games, ping pong, air hockey, Jenga, connect four, a table to play cards, a TV, and such fun decor…it was a hit!) we also loved all the board games in the living room and had a fun family game...

"This was the perfect place to access Acadia—30 min. from our door to the top of Cadillac Mtn.—and for our family of four to share meals together. The living room was comfortable and the bedrooms were quiet. Be sure to bring any food needed for the kitchen, including coffee, oil, etc. We would definitely stay here again!"

"We were 10 of us and everyone enjoyed the beautiful well equipped house ! Just 25 minutes to Acadia and bar harbor, clean, great back yard , fire pit, kitchen with all spices and utensils... there is nothing that we could not find ! Absolutely will go here again"

"The house was clean and very hospitable, with a good size kitchen. The washer and dryer were big. The house met outlr needs to a "T". Convenient location to grocery stores and downtown Ellsworth, shopping, etc. I would definitely stay there again!"

"What a wonderful home for a family reunion/birthday party! Our ages ranged from 11 to 81. As I wandered the many halls and rooms I liked to imagine I was in a Jane Austen or E.M. Forester novel. We all loved the house so much.It's true as other reviewers mentioned it's a little spare for the folks who use walkers and canes, no hand holds in the bathrooms and all showers are (gorgeous) on the second floor. "We had multiple families and this house was perfect! Lots of room for adults to have separate spaces and very kid friendly. Would definitely stay here again. The host answered every question immediately, 10/10.The only negative is the busy road that the house is on, but that is clearly stated in the description. "

"House size and view were fantastic. It was isolated but yet still not far to restaurants or grocery. Only 30 min from Acadia and Bar Harbor. Downside was that it was not very clean and there was no hand towels in bathrooms to use. We also had to find a closet with towels and one of the beds was not made. So we had to find sheets and make ourselves. Finally it was listed there was a futon when really there was only a futon mattress so one of us slept on a floor on a very old futon mattress. I...

"Great location, close walk to beach, loved the canoe and paddle boards. Our dogs had fun too!"

"We had a pleasant stay at the house with total 5 ppl. The house are still quite new, however, we would suggest to update all the cookware like frying pans and the pots. Also, it would be great if there is a BBQ grill available. Overall, we enjoyed staying at this house, 30 mins drive from Acadia park and close by all the supermarkets and shops. "

"Overall, it's a good hotel. Considering the rating, I expected a little bit more. It's an old hotel, but well-maintained. Could be renovated. The breakfast was very good, and the location was great. We stayed there to visit Acadia National Park and Baxter State Park."
