  • Mill Cottage is tucked away off the main street of Buckfastleigh, with steam railway, and butterfly and otter sanctuary nearby.. 1 step to entrance.

    Bedroom 1: Double (4ft 6in) Bed

    Bedroom 2: Single (3ft) Bed

    Bedroom 3: Single (3ft) Bed

    Bathroom: Bath With Shower Over, Toilet. Gas central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Cot and highchair. Telephone (honesty box). Enclosed lawned garden with patio and garden furniture. Private parking for 1 car. No smoking.. A charming terraced stone cottage, located in one of the little side lanes off the main fore street in the village of Buckfastleigh. Mill Cottage is a cosy holiday home with beamed interior and enclosed lawned rear garden. This property is a good family size and for the outdoor type. Buckfastleigh is a great base from which to explore the area. Buckfastleigh is located on the fringes of Dartmoor National Park, within easy access of the A38 making Devon very accessible. The village has an outdoor, public swimming pool, and is well known for the steam railway, and the butterfly and otter sanctuary, which are all great family attractions. Shop, pub and restaurant 50 yards.

We had a wonderful stay in Mill Cottage.

We had a wonderful stay in Mill Cottage. Nigel was very helpful and wanted to make sure that everything was how we wanted for our stay. There was a super welcome basket with all the essentials. Buckfastleigh has a great selection of shops and it is a perfect location for heading out onto the moors. The bed linen was fabulous, the cottage was warm. The garden is lovely, completely secure for the dogs. My only suggestion would be a better gate between the kitchen and living room to stop the dogs going through, nothing else could be faulted. We will most definitely be back. I noticed someone else's review mentioned noise. We didn't hear a sound from any other property for the whole week so don't let that put you off. I nice quiet place to stay.

I nice quiet place to stay. Plenty of room in this traditional cottage. We were blessed with gorgeous weather. Although there are walks around Buckfastleigh it is best to take a car and a map for longer walks. All in all our staycation was good as we normally go abroad at this time of year and will hope to visit the area again. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

This is a very well equipped cottage in an unusual village.

This is a very well equipped cottage in an unusual village. It was very comfortable and our dogs enjoyed the garden. Near the coast and the moor. Owner quickly responded to a problem with the door to garden and fixed it.

We had a lovely time at Mill Cottage.

We had a lovely time at Mill Cottage. The ease of getting to a decent A road and thereby ease of travelling further afield was brilliant for our holiday. The vehicular entrance to this beautifully quaint cottage was tight, however the parking through a secure gate was a pleasant surprise. The rear garden was securely enclosed and not looked upon and the seating area also highly useful outside (both the stone seats and patio set).

Lovely cottage, great base for seeing all the attractions South Devon has to offer.

Lovely cottage, great base for seeing all the attractions South Devon has to offer. Buckfastleigh is close to main roads. Steam railway was wonderful, pubs are friendly and welcoming. Cottage is fully equipped with everything you require. Milk in the fridge, tea, coffee and a big pile of Kit Kats. Plenty of hot water.
