Before you pack up the car and head for the mountains, know that when we say mountains, we really mean it!

Downtown Bryson City has an elevation of 1,752 feet, so think of this as a starting point. The majority of our cabins will have a higher elevation than this. This means that our roads- both state and private- will be steeper, narrower, and curvier than you may be use to driving. Also, you should expect to encounter gravel roads. Consider it part of our rural mountain charm!

Review of property

As we pulled up the front looked very nice, as we entered the floors were beautiful. There was a missing door on the bottom cabinet, the front of the refridgerator had a lot of rusted spots On the door but worked well. The main complaint was the mold in the shower. but worked well

Beautiful location

Absolutely beautiful area. Cabin is roomy enough for 4 easily. Definitely has plenty of amenities. Only detractors were keybox was broken and the “spare key” was missing.

Basic

This is okay if you want basic needs. If I could suggest anything it would be to add a bathroom mat for when you get out of the shower. Also maybe a TV in the master bedroom. The walls are very thin. You can hear everything going on inside from the yard. Kids enjoyed the little playground area. The cabin is right outside the GSM Forrest, very convenient. It is 5 minutes from Bryson City. Overall, it’s clean, in a decent area & besides the few things listed we had an overall enjoyable stay.

We really enjoyed our stay! The cabin was comfortable and cozy-perfect for a get away to watch the leaves change and enjoy the fabulous fall weather. Would definitely recommend!

We were very disappointed as it was not as described. Tv did not work the entire time called for maintenance came once and said would return never did. Staff was extremely rude and even stopped taking our calls.we asked for ownership information and would not give to us. Definitely won't return and feel that we should be returned some our fee.

Everything was good for the price paid except the television didn’t work. They came out once in the evening to unplug it and get it going but then it was out again next morning and they never came back.

Worked fine for us

Basic cabin. Beds semi comfortable. We had a busy schedule outside the cabin but it suited our needs which were low. It’s located in a good spot but there is a camper which might be a permanent spot. It was weird watching that guy break down a table and burn it along with what appeared to be trash. I had to call the property manager on an after hours number to let them know the kitchen window couldn’t be locked. Most of the windows weren’t locked when we got there either. They told me there was nothing they could do but it’s a safe area. I responded with “that’s what I would say if I was renting the place.” They said “good, so you think so too.”(not how that was intended) they said someone would be out first thing the next day, we never saw them and the window still didn’t lock. A day later they placed a coffee table in the living room while we were out but the window still didn’t lock. Security of guests doesn’t seem to be a priority but we were comfortable enough, especially right after breakfast when I didn’t have to reach so far for my coffee cup.

Awful Christmas!

This rental property, specifically Cabin 2 was terrible. We stayed four nights from the 22nd to the 26th of December. The heat did NOT work properly- had to run on emergency heat. We are in the HVAC business and this is not how a system is to be ran. The DirectTV was awful. It worked one night and with a teenager in tow- no WIFI (which we knew about) and no TV to watch was awful. The last two nights, the hot water did NOT work. The owner had us check the breaker box and my husband checked the hot water heater's thermostats and only one worked. The cleanliness was awful- cobwebs, dust, dirty floors. Not to mention, this cabin is located in a RV campground which was not disclosed in the ad for this cabin. The people living in their 5th wheels were shady. One gentleman was passed out, laying on the ground at night asleep and it was 31 degrees. This scared us as we thought he was deceased just laying there in the cold. My husband checked on him and made sure he was alive. Needless to say, not a desired spot for a family. I hope whoever stays here or purchases this campground (it's for sale) does their research and I hope this review is posted. Not a happy "renter".

Stay was horrible

When we arrived at the cabin someone had apparently just left. The beds wasn't made, floors was dirty, along with dirty towels and rags in the bathroom. I called the company and they moved me to another cabin which was smaller. I stayed there that 1 night and left and wouldn't give me a refund. The beds was hard as bricks and the TV was small. So no I didn't enjoy my stay.

Good times.

We booked online and found the cabin as advertised. Wonderful little place no problems at all everything worked well and enjoyed the stay completely. I will be renting from them again in the near future.

A beautiful and amazing place! Love love love it

This cabin was exceptional. Ice was already in the trays. Loved that. There was cable! We used that big time! We planned to do a lot more like bonfires and hiking but we ended up sleeping the whole time. It is so cozy there! Very quiet. The bed and couches where comfortable. It was an awesome trip. Definitely going to come again!

Terrible Beds

The cabin was nice except for the beds. They were very noisy everytime you even moved a little bit and were sagging so bad you couldn,t get much sleep. The rest of the cabin was very nice and close to the areas that we wanted to explore.

Family trip

check in was super easy, blinds were gross and sticky, floor is uneven due to diffrent types of wood used on floors, cob webs in the windows, bath towel roda coming out of the wall, tub does not drain properly, master bed room bed sounded like plastic crinkle every time you moved around, ac unit sounded bad, had a loud humming nouce evertime it came on. Fiund dirty plastuc silverware on the floor behind the trash can. Its was not cleaned very well. We liked the view and it was close to the mountains. Not what the pictures look like for the creek. Had to travel to creek.

Awesome!

We were very pleased with the cabin, it had everything we needed for our stay for 7 days. My only thing was the full size bed felt like it was going to fall apart and made lots of noises when you moved around on it. The atmosphere of the cabin inside and out was relaxing. It was nice that they had fire pits for each cabin with chairs. To be able to sit on the front porch in rocking chairs was relaxing throughout our stay. I would recommend this location to my friends and family.
