"The house has beautiful views and is very spacious. The host was very communicative and the place was a wonderful deal. The hot water has a very bad aroma, sulfur I believe, and it would be nice if it could be filtered in a way to remove the smell. The outside temps got up to about 80 and the loft area got very warm making it a little difficult for the guest who was up there to sleep. "The large family room area was perfect for a large group! We spent hours together spread between the huge couch and very large family dining table for meals and games. The view of the river from there was perfect for watching large ships pass. Doug was both amenable and kind. "

"George was a wonderful host! He was finishing up the yard work as we arrived, he graciously let us check in a few hours early as he had no guests the day prior. Very friendly and respectful. The home had everything we needed, was very clean aside from some dusty spots I wouldn’t have even noticed if it weren’t for my restless toddlers, and had a truly wonderful yard we were happy to run around in. Beds were comfy, AC was cold.. he even left a little toy for my son. 10/10"

"We loved staying here! The home is beautiful, clean and updated. It is centrally located to many Thousand island towns, which we visited. We loved relaxing on the deck and the rocks for the waves, sunsets, and fishing. There was only one bad part having to leave! A grill, firepit and a raft would be bonuses. Mosquito zappers or citronella candles are much needed. "

"Terrific experience. Cottage was larger and nicer than I expected from the pictures. Extremely well appointed in terms of kitchenware etc. in general it is clear the owners have looked to make this as pleasant an experience for guests as possible. "My husband and I enjoyed our stay. The cottage was clean and very well stocked, it was very quiet and relaxing. The sunsets were spectacular! Carol and Pete were very friendly and had a bottle of wine, eggs and 1/2 and 1/2 for our coffee. Definitely I would go back! "
