"It was a lovely location. We were driving on a national park tour on our way to NC beaches and loved the house and the area. The price is amazing given how much everything has cost on this trip! "

"This was perfect for a spur of the moment trip, which ours was. Cost was what talked us into this much needed trip. We love National Parks and having Mammoth Cave National Park so close was perfect. Room was a little musty but we turned the A/C down and that disappeared fast. I would suggest making the Two outlets by the bed into the ones that have USB ports with regular plugs. I totally forgot our plugs but had the cords. Other then that it was just what we needed."

"Our cabin was new and updated, cozy. Also, cabin was clean and all amenities were there: laundry machine, dishwasher, utensils, TV's. Purchase your own woods, it will be cheaper. Nice place for getaway. "

"We have stayed at this property twice for our traditional 10 yo trip with grandchildren. This time we took our two 10 yo grandsons. The location is ideal for Mammoth Cave, Kentucky Down Under, and Jesse James Riding Stables and Putt Putt. The house has a nice table and chairs for playing games. "We thought the cottage was quiet and secluded. Everything was easily accessible and the porch was perfect for a morning cup of coffee. The firepit was far enough from the house to not make everything smell Smokey. Wildlife was beautiful to include a skink (lizard), deer, cat and a screech owl at night. The Lakeside Cafe at the end of the road was absolutely delicious! Pizzas were amazing and cinnamon rolls and breakfast casseroles were scrumptious before heading out to the caves. "

"From check in to check out we had a great time. There are 98 stairs going down to the lake so be ready to exercise. It’s worth it! The lake is beautiful and peaceful. The property had everything we needed and more. Beach towels and life jackets were available to use which was really nice. It was dog friendly with gates on the deck. Hosts were helpful, friendly and responsive. 5 stars "

"This is a really nice home on a beautiful piece of property. The large deck is a wonderful place to hang out and enjoy the view. The living area gave the kids plenty of space to play. The house was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Our granddaughter is already asking to go back!"

"Wonderful property with great amenities. The beds were so comfortable and and the included games were an Amazing little gift. We had 4 teenage boys, my daughter and myself for 3 nights. Everything you need to cook. Just know that it is about 25 minutes to the nearest grocery store. There is an Amish farmers stand about 15 minutes away with really great priced fresh produce."
