"Wow what an amazing experience we had at East twin cottage carmichael, the property is a little dated but very clean and in an amazing location. We had deer field for our back garden and we even witnessed a deer give birth just meters away from us on quite morning! They people who run the business are so friendly and helpful. "The property was filthy. We reported the issues whilst we were there, and were advised to put it onto a feedback form when we left. We did this and have had no acknowledgement whatsoever. Nothing was done to rectify the issues during our stay either. The first night I arrived, I went to climb into bed and found that there was mud and grass on the sheet when i lifted the duvet. "This was our second stay at this property and it was just as good as the first. Just 30 mins drive from Edinburgh, and 10 mins from the Pentland Hills it's perfect for both a city and country break. Extremely dog friendly too with plenty of space to run around outside. All communication was clear and timely, and we were greeted with a bottle of wine, lovely note and flowers. We will certainly try and return for a third stay in future."
