"The house was lovely- clean, great ocean views, all the amenities you need! Kayaking from the property was wonderful, but you need to watch the tide charts- you have a 2 hour window before high tide and 2 hours after high tide otherwise it would be very difficult to get in or out! There are rocks you need to climb over to get the kayaks in and out, but that is not uncommon. The only downside is the noise from the road! We found that you need to shut the windows in the Master Bedroom at night...

We enjoyed every part of our stay - from accomodations and location- to wildlife and wonderful conversations! We enjoyed seeing all the animals of the estuary- birds, seals, otters and more!My husband enjoyed fishing, while the pups and I enjoyed the dock! "It was a great location for our multi-generational family vacation-- a short car ride to the Hull Cove Visitor Center in Acadia National Park. The street was a quiet private road. Our granddaughters and grand-dog had room to romp and play. Well stocked, well maintained and tastefully appointed.Everything about the home was perfect for us!"

"The home was very nice and well maintained. We enjoyed the extra and thoughtful amenities like snacks, selection of coffee and teas, women toiletries. The location is central to a lot of places. Parking is ample. I was kinda nervous about non central AC, but the window ac felt similar to central AC. There was a window ax in every unit and my allergies were ok.We enjoyed our stay."

"The Spofford Inn (Inkwell Room) was beautiful and meticulously decorated with beautiful pieces to not only make the space modern and clean but keep the charm of the original building. The hosts were excellent at communicating and accommodating all our needs. It was is walking distance of a few restaurants and yummy ice cream shop. We were not in Bucksport very long but definitely enjoyed our stay."
