"Super new and clean. Loved the open floor plan for visiting after our hikes in Acadia. Beds were very comfortable. House did not lack in any necessities. It was about a 35 minute drive to Bar Harbor and Acadia. Not exactly easy to run back to the house if you wanted a mid day break, but we knew the location when we booked and enjoyed the quietness of neighborhood. The host was extremely responsive. Would definitely stay here again. "

Rental properties can feel like a gamble sometimes with mattress quality, but the owners of the Spofford Lodge spared no expense to furnish their rooms with high quality items. We had five children and five adults, and there was plenty of space for everyone to spread out and relax.The pool was a game changer — even on our one rainy day, it made the vacation still feel like a celebration. It is a beautiful house, nicely decorated with comfortable furniture - perfect for relaxing and visiting. We loved the location, it is in a quiet neighborhood with multiple shopping and dining options nearby. It took us about 35 minutes to drive to the Bar Harbor area."
