"Kristie was an incredible and gracious host—so kind and extremely responsive throughout our stay! The home was very clean, comfortable, and exactly as pictured, with no surprises or disappointments. We had a wonderfully relaxing holiday weekend here.I only have two small recommendations:•Provide a quick instruction sheet on how to lock the door (a few of us struggled to figure it out at first).•Add a couple of kitchen basics like a cookie sheet, flat baking pan, and a skillet.Other than that,...

"Quiet & comfortable.Conveniently located off of I-26, yet far enough away as to be secluded.The covered parking area was wonderful since we arrived in the rain.This was our second stay at the cottage, and will be our regular stop-over in the future.Mr. Bowen is a most gracious host.Would highly recommend this for short stays."

"Very nice home! Pictures are as advertised and the home was very clean. The area surrounding the home is dilapidated, however, the home is very nice. The only two issues with the house are 1) the walls are very thin and you can hear the road noise and every step the people above take very clearly. 2) there is an issue with the municipal pipes of the town and my last night of the stay the water in the shower and bathroom sink was coming out yellow. Overall a very nice option in this small town."

"We loved it. This is was our second time staying. We knew the property was nice the 1st time but when you're out so much u cant really enjoy it the way could have. "This pains me to write because this could’ve been a great little stopping point, however the bathtub was actually filthy. It smelled like urine and there is a dark grey film that needs to be scrubbed off. I get that old tubs can have stains but these are not stains and could’ve been removed with cleaner and elbow grease. I had camped for a week and just wanted to take a nice hot bath; I did not get to take one. Also I would add a sign for the cottage because it was confusing as to which door it...
