The room was clean and tidy , the en-suite was spacious and the views from our windows over the river were great . We had bedroom
3 and the river runs directly outside and the sounds and views of the river are very relaxing . We would highly recommend to anyone wanting a lovely quiet peaceful break with lovely walks right on your doorstep.. we will be back for sure "
"Bright friendly welcome with tea and biscuits. The gardens are extensive and lots to interest. The house feels like a medieval manor although is C19 Tudor revival. The bedroom had everything needed and mercifully no television, was clean and welcoming. Al in all a lovely stay with a lovely host."

Although we had a lovely Valentine meal, we were in the public bar, next to the bar which was a bit noisy, table in the restaurant would have been preferred for a bit more privacy. Still we had a wonderful stay."
"One of the best B/Bs we’ve stayed in. Owners were very friendly & helpful. Our room was beautifully decorated with very large comfortable bed, tea / coffee area with small fridge and large bathroom. Everything was very clean.
