Welcome to The Blue Bird Chalet!

This luxury cabin is located down a private drive in the prestigious Southern Hills area near Beavers Bend State Park and Broken Bow Lake. It is a beautifully architected chalet nestled in a valley which offers not only seclusion, but amazing wooded views on its nearly 3-acre lot. The view can be enjoyed all day and night under the covered, wrap-around porch or comfortably indoors next to a gas fireplace thanks to its floor-to-ceiling glass window design in the front. It is the perfect destination for those looking for peace and tranquility surrounded by the sounds of nature.

The cabin includes two bedrooms downstairs and a large game room loft upstairs and is capable of sleeping up to 8 people comfortably.

Inside the spacious loft you’ll find a queen size bed, a queen-sized sofa sleeper bed, and a private bathroom with jetted tub. The game room loft also boasts a foosball table, large flat screen TV connected to a DVD player and cable television, as well as a variety of DVD’s and board games to select from.

The two private bedrooms downstairs each have a flat screen TV connected to cable television and share a hallway bathroom which includes a walk in, tiled shower with bench. One of the downstairs bedrooms features a king size bed and comfortable reading chair while the other hosts a queen size bed.

The Blue Bird Chalet has a fully equipped kitchen with granite countertops and full-size appliances including microwave, stove, refrigerator, and dishwasher. The cabin is already stocked with dishes, cookware, and dining utensils. You’ll find everything you need to prepare meals for family and friends.

Your whole party can enjoy the stars comfortably seated around a campfire pit in the front of the chalet. Or, follow the wrap around deck to a large hot tub and patio rocker seating at the back of the cabin. There you will also find a large grilling area which is a great way to enjoy a meal.

Come and enjoy the relaxation this cabin has to offer for just the weekend or stay the entire week.

Great place to stay not to close to others. Dishwasher was a little iffy sometimes and no hot water the second day but they were quick to come fix it. Would stay here again

Perfect!!!! Beautiful home!!!! Easy Peasey trip!!!! Great private location. Near to attractions and lake but you’d really never have to leave with a hot tub, fire ring, grill, tvs in every room and spacious layout. Thanks for wonderful memories!!!!

Great weekend getaway cabin!

Great location near many other activities and food. Nice neighborhood. No issues with anything in the house or hot tub, all worked well. Very pleased overall. The only thing was there were no blinds on the living room and kitchen so that took some getting used to.

The power went out 30 minutes before checkout but that may have been due to maintenance nearby. Additionally, the location of the property on Expedia was incorrect.

Family trip

The property location was great. It was kind of secluded. If you like luxury, this is not the rental for you. If you just need a place to sleep then it will be a great choice. Cons: There were cobwebs on most of the overhead lights and windows. The down stairs shower just seemed a little dirty and outdated. The hot tub was older and didn’t work really well. The grill took awhile to get lit. The covers and sheets on the bed appeared older. It just seemed for 1600 for three nights, I would have had a more updated home. There are no window coverings on the upstairs loft. So if you are not an early riser then that’s not a room for you. Pros: a family of 6 had plenty of room Plenty of cooking utensils Quiet location Nice covered porches Despite the cons my family still had a great time together.

Love the location and the lake is 5 minutes away. Space enough for everyone, and pet friendly! Two things only: there was a whole pizza in the oven (not ours) and cleaning the hot tub. Overall, our stay was amazing and very relaxing!♥️

A perfect hideaway!

It is spacious! This was a perfect getaway. The cabin is nestled between a hill and a ridge so it is very quiet and private- something hard to find in the area due to how many cabin rentals there are. No traffic noise and very few cars. At night, if you turn all the lights off, there are so many stars visible to the naked eye that it is amazing! The hot tub was wonderful but in the age of showers, the large upstairs jacuzzi tub was the highlight of my stay. I definitely want to come back!

Fantastic!

I stayed here with my spouse, child and 3 other adults for two nights. What a great place to "get away from it all!" The place was beautifully decorated for Christmas and really was breathtaking when we pulled down the private drive. We will be back!

So cute and welcoming

Overall, we had a great stay. We had 6 adults and 2 kids. Only thing missing was extra pillow cases for the kids that slept on the pull out couch. And there are two bathrooms, but only 1 has a shower in it. Overall, we had a great stay. Just had to change our shower schedules so we all could have hot water but we made it work. Hot tub was great, and when you pull in, all we could say was "WOW!" It is stunning. The views, the driveway in, the trees, it was just beautiful. And you couldn't see any neighbors. If there are more than 6 people, I would advise bringing a couple extra chairs for outside around the firepit, there are only 6 chairs. And if you visit, take the 12 min drive to the FriendLoop trail. It was about 2 hours and absolutely beautiful. Breath taking views. Would definitely go again and stay here.

Bluebird Chalet was amazing

My family and I stayed at the bluebird and it was one of the best places we have stayed at so far. It was secluded and a quiet getaway. It was a few minute drive down to the river where you can hike, fish, kayak and even camp. Make sure you bring pens (we need for Yahtzee) and something to light the fire in the pit. The directions could have been more clear (less detail at the end) to say to stay on the road u til you reach the fork and the house is signed on the right. We came at night and took a wrong turn up a hill because we looked at the precise milage they said a hill would be. Small complaints for an overall amazing stay.

Bluebird Chalet Review

Our family rented the Bluebird Chalet for a long weekend stay from 7/9/21 - 7/12/21. There were seven of us. The place was comfortable but I felt somewhat mislead when finding out that the house only had one shower. The listing did say that the upstairs loft had a jetted tub but when the listing says two full baths we assumed that there would be two showers. When seven people want to shower and have to wait on one another, makes for quite a wait. Maybe we should have inquired a little more before booking. The MAJOR disappointment was the cleanliness of the place. There were cobwebs everywhere. I realize that the tall 12 foot windows are a challenge to clean... but... cobweds in closets and windowsills all over the house is rediculous. Also the shower...some kind of funk growing in the tile joints down low in the shower. There was also some very hard caked on mud that had obviously been there a while in front of the downstairs toilet. One of the lower cabinet doors in the kitchen wouldn't even close because the two hinges were barely screwed in, which I fixed. (You're welcome). The floors all over the house were absolutely filthy. The kidos walked around the kitchen one night after their shower and their feet were black. The hot tub had some kind of grit or sand in it. Other than that... it was a great weekend. Bluebird Chalet no more. For the price, expected so much more.

Family Vacay

Cabin was in the perfect location for our family. I like to run and this area is good for a morning run and our teenagers enjoyed nights by the fire. Cabin is plenty big for a family of five and very clean. We enjoyed our visit to Broken Bow!
