We really, really enjoyed our stay at the Luxe. In fact, it was the very best thing about our visit to Broken Bow. We had never been to the area so we explored some other cabins we had been looking at, and this one is by far and away located in the most convenient, flat area as opposed to a hilly area. There really aren’t a lot of properties on the lake – or at least we never saw them – so this was the very best. Also, we noticed even the ones on the hills don’t necessarily have a great view – it’s really about the woods, so why not enjoy these? We enjoyed cornhole, the fire pit, and absolutely loved the garage door that opened onto the back patio and the fabulous swings. The only thing I did not understand from the listing was how much bigger it actually was than I thought – I thought there was one loft, but there were two! As some folks noted the steps going up to the loft are indeed big – this was not a problem for us. Having stayed in a lot of rental units, I really appreciate having the little extras that make things nice – and there were so many of those things (like soap, trash bags, etc). Everything we needed was there. The only thing I would say is having an instruction sheet for some of the items- like how to work the fireplaces would’ve been great, but they were really responsive by text, so that’s not a major complaint. My kids felt very cool in this place and my husband and I really had the most relaxing part of our road trip here. Thank you!
