La Buena Vida is located in the rolling hills of the Ouachita Mountains in the gorgeous Carter Mountain West development. While just outside of the Hochatown city limits which offers lower lodging taxes, the development is only three minutes from ATV trails, five minutes from Local 259, The Maze of Hochatown, Chili Dippers Golf Club, and the turn-off for Cedar Creek Golf Course, and seven minutes north of Shuck Me, Mountain Fork Brewery, and Okie Girls.

Potential for Noise: Hochatown is a growing community, and there may be construction noise on weekdays. Hwy 259 is a thoroughfare for logging trucks that create highway noise that can travel far distances depending on weather and ambient noise. We provide sound machines in the bedrooms and outdoor speakers for the decks to help with any noise concerns.
