"Character room, good size with everything you would need. There were a few things that needed refreshing but it was all fine for a short stay. The breakfast was really good, hot and well presented with good coffee/tea. Good value for money and good location for many places to visit."

"We had a lovely weekend at The Red Lion. The staff were incredibly helpful both ahead of and during our stay, and the pub food and breakfasts were very tasty. Our room felt a little dated and in need of maintenance in places, especially in the bathroom, but it served its purpose for our stay and we would be happy to go again."

"Very clean and great staff. The breakfast was lovely. Nice to find out that the meat from the brasserie is all halal, which meant I had a steak on our second night. Also the ravioli dish was wonderful too. Loved the food. The spa facilities are fantastic and not busy. Other guests were perfectly pleasant, didn't experience any issues considering we were the only non-white couple there and my wife dresses modestly. "We stayed for one night. Although very hot weather the room had plenty of windows and an excellent fan to help keep us cool. Staff very friendly. Plenty of parking. We would definitely stay again if in the area."
