The units face north and have a large pool and entertainment area - the views are the best at Point Lookout and it is possible to watch the migration of Humpback Whales (June to November) from each unit. Features: Two bedroom two bathroom units with decks on two levels, vergola roofed decks which can be opened or closed depending on the weather,dishwasher, oven and microwave, colour TV and DVD, washing machine and dryer, ceiling fans throughout, screened doors, bbq on deck and undercover parking. Swimming pool and timber entertainment area.

Lazy Days on Straddie

Great position, spectacular views! Not a quick walk to the beach, but one that will keep you fit. Undercover carport right outside the door made for easy unpacking in wet weather. North Stradbroke was a lovely restful getaway, beautiful coastal path, bush walk to Blue Lake was great, especially followed by coffee at The Blue Room Cafe. :-)

Stunning view

To experience the views is well worth the stay in this unit. A quick drive to Home or Cylinder beach or a twenty minute walk each way….a very hilly walk back! The unit is decorated with colourful artwork which I loved. The pool was a hit overlooking the ocean. The downside to the unit is a lack of screens upstairs which meant bugs and flies and the cleanliness had a lot to be desired…..fans really dusty, cupboards needed a good wipe. Overall it was an enjoyable stay.

Rather disappointing , it was rather grubby

The white blinds were very mouldy, the ceiling fans “ flung” a pile of dirt onto my brother in law pillow So many notes around the place saying “Don’t do this, don’t do that, “ We are grown ups , certainly we would leave the place in a good condition ! But it was a quiet stay, easy to find

Wildlife retreat

Lots of wildlife at your fingertips. Breakfast with the kookaburras, whales can be seen jumping while sitting in the deck, kangaroos roaming out the front. 💕

Beautiful apartment in perfect location

Thoroughly enjoyed our four days here. Well appointed kitchen, spacious apartment, comfortable bedrooms. Only negative was a lack of soap for the bathrooms and no hand towels. We had brought the extra items we were instructed to bring but soap and hand towels were not mentioned.

Beautiful view and unit

We truly enjoyed our stay at this lovely and relaxing place. It’s nicely decorated and has almost everything you need. However, you do need to bring Nespresso pods, tea and sugar. Other disappointing part is property management didn’t provide typical essentials like toilet paper, hand soap, garbage bags and other items you’d expect. Also, the lengthy list of cleaning that they expect you to do on top of a 9am check out is a bit ridiculous.

Great views, but early checkout

The property and location was great, views were awesome. Nice vibe to the unit and quite well equipped kitchen. No wifi access, which is really unusual and unexpected now. Also the 9am checkout time was a bit early, particularly compared to other properties we've stayed in Point Lookout.

Enjoyed Straddie.

The property was excellent. The view was lovely, just what we wanted. The unit itself was very clean, nice pictures on the walls, Everything we needed in the kitchen with lots of plates etc in case we had visitors. It was a short drive to everything that we wanted to see or do.

Living The Dream on North Stradbroke Island Queensland Australia

The accommodation was outstanding, finely furnished with beautiful artwork on the walls. The view of the ocean - beach from the outdoor area off lounge is stunning. The kitchen was one of the best kitchens' we have stayed in our travels that was well equipped. Including a great Weber BBQ on outdoor area to bbq with ocean views. Location great. Will definitely book this Unit in the future and recommend to others. Lovely Cafes/coffee and eating places not far including awesome little shops and of course, the beaches, Brown Lake Point Out Look Walk and many more.

Looking at the online photos you wondered if the unit would truly be as it appeared, but in actuality it exceeded expectations. We loved the unit from the minute we walked in. Heaps of cupboard space for storage, beds were comfy, all kitchen appliances worked, bathrooms were great. Best views I have ever seen and we were able to walk to the beach every day. Pool was amazing with views of the ocean and it was lovely and clean. Even though we have only just finished our holiday I already want to book again for next year. Very happy. Thank you 🧡

Amazing view, but no fly screens

The view from the property was fantastic. The big downside for our family was the lack of fly screens on any of the doors or windows. This meant to have fresh airflow in the unit also meant having many flys buzzing around the unit all day. I’m guessing this would also be a problem with mosquitos as well at certain times. Would not book the unit again due to this, which is a shame as the view was amazing.
