"Very easy experience from booking as great communication from the owner. This self catering rental has everything you need from a comfortable lounge to a fully equipped kitchen, I even cooked a full English breakfast! Surprisingly quiet considering it was on the second floor of a 3 story block accessible up 2 flights of concrete stairs therefore would not be suitable for less able bodied people. Taxis cost roughly £5 into town, however, the local bus stop is close by. Ample off street parking...

"The Loft was a lovely property in a beautiful location. The place was clean and comfortable. It had a lovely shower and all amenities for cooking if needed. The owner was friendly and approachable. "The property itself was ok but it is joined to a building site and all you hear is stihl saws loud music and shouting and swearing from the builders. The 9 pm noise curfew is a joke, bangra until the early hours. Stay Angels were no help at the point of complaint, nothing we can do was their mantra."

"The room is well renovated and everything works, mainly the shower. The breakfast is excelent, but expensive. There are some work in progress on the square in front of the reception, with the street interrupted, so the taxis and ubers sometimes don’t come to the right place. But it is a good location anyway to walk to the nice city centre of the (former) “steel city”, already converted to pedestrian streets. There was a fire alarm once in an ungodly hour, with everybody using the stairs to go out. It was not clear if someone in a given room made some smoke or if it was a failure on the programmed weekly fire exercise."
