"The cottage is clean and has everything you need for a great getaway. The kitchen cabinets are labeled and have plenty of dishes, silverware and cooking equipment.We loved taking in the view each morning and evening on the screened in cottage. While sitting on the dock, we watched a majestic eagle soaring. The beds are comfortable and the ceiling fans are quiet. We loved staying at Maple Point Hideaway. "

"Lovely cabin and area. We made it just in time for a beautiful sunset and wish we could have stayed longer. I did not receive any information of Wi-fi access, and while I loved being unplugged it would have been helpful if there was some emergency contact info located at the cabin, since the spot was more remote."

"Stayed with 3 of my siblings and it was wonderful! Kitchen was well equipped and we used the grill for dinner on the deck. Very peaceful! We actually met Vanessa and her daughters when we arrived. Very nice family! We will definitely book again! "

"Beautiful house with plenty of space and fun! Kids loved the games downstairs and we enjoyed the hot tub while listening to the rushing waves of the lake! Overall, great experience! We were between Mackinaw, Sault Ste Marie and Tahquamenon falls!"

"This a sweet little place with many personal and appreciated touches. There are several outdoor spaces to relax.The beach here is not for walking but there are parks to both the east and west to walk along Lake Superior. Highly recommend this cottage for both exploring the area and for just sittin'"

"This cabin was perfect for our family of four. It was secluded from neighbors but not far from the places we visited. The kids loved the s’mores supplies. If we come back to this area again, I would definitely see if this property was available. "

"We enjoyed the bunkhouse and it's quiet and peaceful rustic setting both inside and out. It was the perfect location for what we wanted to do (hike bike and relax). The sandy roads were not ideal for our biking but we managed to find some semi paved rds, the places we hiked were perfect as was the bonus trip to the Shipwreck museum and miles of walking along the shore of Lake Superior. Our biggest complaint was the mosquitos! We could not seem to get away from them!! Next time we would consider...

"Property was a ways from town and had to take a ferry to get there, but my fault for not reading description carefully. Cabin was exceptionally clean and very well stocked towels, bedding, cooking accessories. Owner responded in a timely manner."
