"We made our booking via a partner agent on arrival we were told to had to pay for parking which we weren’t aware of. £5 per night. We’ve stayed here many times over the years & never paid for parking . Despite pre checking in online the day before arrival with both guests details there was only 1 set of towels.
Room was clean although I found an extremely long black hair in the bathroom I have a blonde bob. Value for money it served its purpose for our hiking break."

"Room was 5 star. Amenities fantastic. Great hosts. Quiet, spacious. Abundance of Tea, coffee, water, shower gel etc. Best stay ever. Will definately visit again.

"Staff all very friendly. Our food, both our evening meal and breakfast were both lovely. The one downside for me was that even though we had a late check out at 12, my husband had gone on to work and at 10:30am my door was opened by a man who announced he was there to do housekeeping. I’d read in a previous review that another lady had the exact same thing happen to her. I’m thankful I had the chain lock on or I would have been put in a very compromised position!
