Step inside into the large open plan living area and be greeted by a contemporary kitchen complete with gas hob, electric oven, and a host of modern appliances. There is plenty of work top space from which to prepare a hearty Yorkshire breakfast or a delicious evening meal. The dining table sits to one side and provides plenty of seating for four. The living room area is flooded with natural light from French doors that open out onto an enclosed decked area. Two deep filled sofas are perfectly placed to enjoy a cosy romantic night in and the large flat screen TV will provide evening entertainment. Sunshine Lodge offers to beautifully presented bedrooms, a twin room and a king-size double inclusive of a lavish en-suite shower room. A house bathroom offering both bath and shower options completes the accommodation. Outside the lodge has a wraparound veranda enclosed by a wooden balustrade which allows perfect views of the park.

If you fancy a night of from cooking then exquisite food and wines can be enjoyed in the a la carte restaurant on site, or guests can take in the panoramic views from the club house veranda. Sunshine Retreat is next to Sewerby Hall which has beautiful gardens and grounds, a little zoo and lovely café as well as access to the headland walk to Flamborough and Bridlington. The stately homes of Burton Agnes and Sledmere House and gardens are also close at hand. The vibrant seaside towns of Bridlington and Filey offer a host of amenities including a plethora of tea rooms, pubs, and restaurants as well as a variety of convenience stores. A holiday to this area would not be complete without a visit to RSPB Bempton Cliffs. The unspoilt rolling hills of the Yorkshire Wolds offer miles of walking and cycling opportunities and the cultural City of Hull and historic walled City of York are both under an hour’s drive away.
