"Great place to explore the nearby areas (Pitlochry, Dunkeld). We needed a space for 4 and a Bernese Mountain dog and it was a good size. Place was clean and had everything we needed. Once we figured out the heating system, it was all good. Would happily come back in warmer weather to take advantage of the BBQ."

"We had an excellent time at this property. 4 stars for cleanliness as windows and skirtings were dusty and a few cracked tiles on the kitchen floor but otherwise very clean and well presented. Summer house could be doing with a little TLC as the doors don't open and a couple of glass/Perspex panels missing from them. "Had a lovely weekend staying at Birnie Cottage. Aileen was great at giving information prior to our arrival and gave us a lovely welcome with scones, butter and jam. The cottage had everything we needed and was very comfortable. The garden is beautiful and we were lucky enough to be able to sit out 2 evenings enjoying the sun and the garden. "Could not recommend this accommodation enough - a real hidden gem! Massive, secure 2 bedroom apartment in a wider bunkhouse complex which was, when we stayed, not occupied. Only 5 mins drive from Kirriemuir and so quiet and peaceful - in the heart of the countryside. Comms were great and all mod cons throughout including WiFi, TVs in all rooms and even a starter hamper! Will definitely book again. The dog loved the outdoor space which is literally ‘on your doorstep’! A+"

"O hotel é antigo o acesso aos quartos são péssimos. Os corredores possuem várias portas o que prejudica o conforto de quem está querendo descansar, pois é porta batendo a madrugada inteira. Não havia elevador, tivemos que subir escadas com nossas malas. O estacionamento é pequeno e apertado. O atendimento no check e checkout é bom, mas do café da manhã é muito ruim."
