Thank you for your review including all the activities you did while visiting the loft. We are so happy to hear that you had a great vacay at Cape Cod Summer Getaway! When asked, we love to give recommendations of our favorite places. The Cape does have a lot of kid-friendly (and adult) museums that are fun to visit along with all the beaches, towns, ice cream and 'clam' shacks. Feretti's, Stone Loving, The Saturday Morning Farmers Market in Orleans, The Bike Path to Chatham, Orleans, Eastham and Wellfleet, A day at Billingsgate Beach, Enjoyed the unique artwork at The Frying Pan and a great band at (the) Pearl. And now I can finally add watching the Slackers play at The Ocean House in Dennisport with great food and excellent company! We hope this is your new summer tradition! Thank you for your review and we are glad you liked the location. We were quite surprised and disappointed by your review. We did spend quite a bit of extra time this winter helping you to make the arrangements via VRBO since you were both still in High School at the time of your booking. In addition, we updated our property with a large widescreen TV & Roku which was not advertised in our VRBO listing (when you booked) at no additional cost to you for the week. We take pride in running a 5-star operation. We did ask you a few times during your stay how everything was going and if you had any questions or issues. You didn't mention either item to us at the time of your stay. We have never had a complaint about either item. The items you mentioned had been both cleaned and tested and worked perfectly prior to your stay and the next guests mentioned they all worked perfectly as well. We wish you had mentioned this during your stay so we could've addressed any issues then rather than give us a 4 Star Rating on VRBO. Our guests stay and comfort is very important to us!

This is our first ever review that hasn't been 5 stars so I wanted to understand why our guest chose 4 stars. The first thing I did was run the French text through a google French to English Translator online and this is how the text was translated: From the Guest: "Tom and Marcia were extremely welcoming and very friendly despite the problem of the language. The studio and very warm, functional, very comfortable bed, this accommodation evokes us a cabin in the trees among birds and squirrels. The outside shower is not a problem, spacious and warm, boring only if it rains. Only small flat, missing a sink, there is only one kitchen sink. Overall very good location that we recommend." We thank you for taking the time to review our studio and we are happy that you very much enjoyed your stay here. I believe the 4 is quite misleading for our future guests based on not having a sink in the bathroom (we do not advertise having a sink in the bathroom) and I hope you will consider a more accurate review based on our original VRBO listing. We advertise our studio as rustic, very clean, with a private setting, no TV, an outdoor shower and a small kitchenette with a sink, a fridge, hot plate, coffee maker and a microwave. In addition at the time of your booking we did not advertise A/C, however a beautiful new A/C split was installed in the wall providing the feeling of central A/C prior to your arrival at no extra charge. We do not advertise anything we do not have, nor are we looking to compete with all the larger, high priced hotels. We take pride in offering our slice of paradise on Cape Cod with accurate photos and a description of the studio so that the right traveler with have the opportunity to enjoy Cape Cod in a clean and very affordable accommodation during the very busy summer/fall season. We would've enjoyed getting to know you better, but with the language barrier it limited our amount of communication and getting to know each other. Despite the language barrier it appeared your loved the accommodations, the price, the cleanliness and the location. I hope you will reconsider giving us a rating of 5 based on the accuracy of our accommodations, the cleanliness and friendliness of the hosts and the lovely quiet location with easy access to the bike trail and the beaches (and the new A/C).
