"A bit of a trip back in time.... It is an older facility. It was a basic accommodation, but the beds were comfortable and we slept okay. The walls are a bit thin, but people quieted down relatively early. It was a handy place to stay if you are getting on the ferry to Newfoundland."

"We thought we were on the Cabot Trail, but we were on highway 105 instead. Could have stated in Sydney and done day trips or booked tours."

"We stayed here for one night during our road trip and had a pleasant experience overall. The room was clean, well maintained, and very comfortable. A big plus was the central air conditioning, which worked great and made the room very comfortable after a long day of driving. The only downside was that there isn't any food available on-site. While this wasn't a major issue, the nearest restaurant closes fairly early, so you may need to drive a bit if you arrive later in the evening. Having...

"Everything was clean and easy access. The yurt was beautiful and very comfortable. And the individual hot tub was divine. Only “complaint”, not a lot of options for restaurants in the area open for dinner. The Bistro is closed though they offered us to eat the buffet they had for a function for 40/ person. Didn’t seem worth the money. But the accommodations and bathroom/shower were perfect! Just plan to eat before checking in. (Though the pizza place up the road was open, and very good)"
