ꨄ︎ The Highland on Smith - Lakefront Family Cabin

Welcome to The Highland on Smith! Thoughtfully decorated, family-friendly lakefront cabin. Waterfront with year-round water on Lewis Smith Lake, the gorgeous hidden gem of North Alabama. Located off I-65, 20 min outside of Cullman and 1 hr north of Birmingham. A short 6-8 min drive to Trident Marina and 10 min to the grocery store.

Enjoy swimming, kayaking, fishing, or water basketball from our swim dock. You're welcome to tie up your personal boat or use our double jet ski pad!

ꨄ︎ The space:

Please take time to read the below bedroom information. The cabin accommodates 6 adults between the two bedrooms and the sleeper sofa in the living room.

Main Level -

Main suite with queen bed and smart TV. Ensuite full size bathroom with large shower and galvanized metal tub. Enjoy exquisite morning sunrise views, or lower the blackout blinds for a superbly snoozy morning.

2nd shared full size bath with shower.

Kitchen is fully equipped with new appliances, toaster, blender, tea kettle, and Keurig coffee maker. Coffee and tea (black and herbal) and assortment of spices provided.

Indoor dining table seats 4 comfortably. TV trays are also available, and your extended outdoor dining space is steps away.

Laundry is located on the main level. Detergent pods and all staple laundry items included.

Living/sun room is comfy with 50” smart TV, brand new queen sleeper sofa, and the best views you'll get of Smith lake!

Upstairs -

Bedroom 2 with two single (twin) beds and smart TV. Closet off the upstairs landing is the perfect place to stow your suitcases once you've unpacked for lake living!

ꨄ︎ Guest access:

Multi-level decks with tons of seating and panoramic, breathtaking lake views from every vantage point. Outdoor dining table on covered patio with ceiling fan seats 6. Blackstone propane grill with extra tank provided.

Fire pit with fire wood provided. Toss in a handful of fresh herbs from the garden to awaken - or calm - your senses by firelight!

Down at the water, you'll enjoy access to 3 single kayaks with paddles, a 6X9 swim mat for relaxing or play, life jackets, and water basketball. There are 4 "zero gravity" loungers on the upper deck, and 4 stacking chairs on the bottom deck.

Your furry friends will ♡ our doggie dock ladder, making their transition from water to swim dock a breeze!

Our personal boat is lifted within the boat slip, but there's plenty of room to BYOB(oat)!

We provide an assortment of standard-sized life jackets for your safety, but advise bringing your own if you have specific requirements.
