Our vacation apartment, which has been completely renovated from the ground up, leaves nothing to be desired for our guests.
It can accommodate up to 8 adults (3 double beds and 2 pull-out couches), spread across four rooms so that all guests can enjoy their privacy.
In addition, two cribs for toddlers up to about three years old can be provided free of charge.
There is also a high chair and a play area for our younger guests.
The living room features a large-screen TV and a foosball table. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the entire property for our guests.
The basic amenities include a bed with fresh linens, a cozy bathrobe, and fluffy towels.
The infrared cabin on the balcony or the spacious whirlpool tub invite you to relax. The infrared cabin accommodates up to four people, and the whirlpool tub is suitable for two. The bathroom is also equipped with a double sink and a rain shower.
In the bathroom, our guests will also find a “basket” with high-quality personal care products, which they are welcome to use during their stay.
The large, south-facing balcony offers a magnificent view of the Sonnwendstein.
You’ll also find a fully equipped kitchenette with a tea and coffee corner, which is stocked with various types of tea, coffee, and cocoa upon arrival.
The vacation apartment is centrally located in Breitenstein; across the street is a public playground that’s free to use.
There is also a public parking lot there with an EV charging station for your electric car.
Right in front of the accommodation, you can start a hike along the Railway Trail to discover the magnificent structures of the Semmering Railway.
In about a 10-minute walk, you’ll reach the “Blunzenwirt” inn, where traditional home-style cooking awaits you.
The Speckbacherhütte inn, located in the “Am Kreuzberg” district, is a 5-minute drive away, where you’ll be treated to regional dishes.
The Semmering–Hirschenkogel is about a 10-minute drive away.
In Semmering, you’ll find a supermarket, a bakery, numerous restaurants, coffeehouses, and an ATM.
At Hirschenkogel (Zauberberg), you can ski and toboggan in the winter; the night slope is a special highlight.
But you’ll also get your money’s worth at Semmering in the summer.
You can choose whether to go hiking, downhill biking, scootering, climbing (high ropes course), or racing down the mountain on the summer toboggan run.
The Semmering also has a 9-hole golf course, which is the oldest in Austria.
Another ski resort, the Stuhleck, is about a 20-minute drive away.
It’s located in the village of Spital am Semmering, where you can also go cross-country skiing or snowshoeing.
We also recommend the Rax (about a 15-minute drive) for a half-day or full-day trip, where you can take the aerial cableway up to over 2,000 meters above sea level to explore the extensive hiking area or simply relax and unwind.
St. Corona am Wechsel is also just a 30-minute drive away.
There, a great range of recreational activities awaits you, from mountain biking for all ages to a summer toboggan run and a motor skills park.
Spa enthusiasts can reach the “Linsberg Asia” thermal baths in 30 minutes by car the “Linsberg Asia” thermal spa or travel to the imperial city of Baden (45 min.) to visit the Roman thermal baths.
The small town of Gloggnitz, with its numerous shops, invites you to stroll and shop.
In the summer, you can enjoy the sun at the large outdoor pool.
