"We had a beach weekend celebrating my daughters HS graduation and this was place was AMAZING!! You walk out and the beach is right there. If you are looking for a beach front place to stay, this is perfect. Both patios are AMAZING and extremely roomy. Convenient store is walking distance for ice or if you forget anything. Grocery store and meat market are just 15 mins away across the bridge."

"We live in Houston and often come up for day trips. When we do want to spend the weekend we look for beachfront rentals. I have my list of a few favorites but all were snagged early for 4th of July weekend. Miraculously I found this one and so glad we did!! The property is amazing and evident that the owners take great care of it. We spent a lot of time on the bottom deck and upper deck enjoying the view to the beach and beyond. Towels were soft and plentiful. Lots of room to spread out....

"This makes our 3rd stay at the Happy Mullet! Twice through VRBO and once direct through homeowners when we couldn’t stay the full 7 nights. It suits all our needs especially with teens. We also have a Yorkie and were able to bring her this trip since the home is dog friendly. Love that it is beach front and close to the walkover. We have made many memories here and we will be back!"

"This beach house was perfect for our single night stay. Conveniently located to the water. Comfortable rooms. Great porch area for conversation with a slight view of the water, nice shade, and a bit of breeze. We will stay here again."

"Was easy to access and talking with the owner was simplistic! Walmart and anything you could possibly need is only 20 minutes away. They are correct when they say you need to bring your own water. Plenty of beds and room. We went to Yucca beach (15 per day to park) and also the free beach thats a couple of miles down the road. I recommend the free beach the beaches are the same and well its free, lol.At the beaches we saw crabs, baby sharks, hermit crabs, fish, and jellyfish.We will stay again."

"The house was beautiful and in a great spot in the community. Easy walk down the street to the beach. Community pools are also great. Just a heads up, you need to bring your own shampoo/ Cond./ and body soap to this property. "

"I cannot say enough about how amazing this house was for our family vacation. The owners were very quick to reply to any questions and the beach access is just a few steps away. The elevator was especially great for hauling all the luggage up and down. Kitchen very well stocked and we were a group of 15. They even had beach equipment we could use and a pack and play, high chair, child’s booster seat, and not to mention the baby gate to prevent our toddler from wondering up the stairs. The was...
