"We had a wonderful time at cranberry cottage. Our stay was in January but we were still able to take advantage of the local beaches. There are lots of hiking trails nearby that we were able to go snow shoeing on. The fireplace at the cottage was a nice surprise as we had some very cold nights. The host was responsive and I would definitely love to visit when the weather is a bit better but if you’re looking for a winter getaway this is definitely a place to consider. "

"From the photos shared by the host, we got the impression that the property was right next to the beach. In reality, while you can see the water from the property, it's actually quite a distance away, with several other properties between the house and the beach. That was a bit disappointing because it wasn't what we expected. Other than that, we had a nice stay and enjoyed our time there."

"Make sure you video when checking out, host is charging extra for cleaning. We cleaned the unit. I messaged the host about the washer as it couldn’t do a complete wash. Host is charging us for broken washer when we couldn’t even use it as it couldn’t do complete wash. Additional charge for broken steam cleaner that we DID NOT use. "The location was beautiful and well cared for. It is a true family run business with the feeling of the passion and love of the owners in all aspects. My brother and I enjoyed our stay and met the owners *who gave me a ride back up the hill when I forgot my keys! I would recommend to anyone looking for a Cabot Trail basecamp! "

"Unique property, staff was friendly and accommodating and there was a nice breakfast provided in the morning. Kids liked staying here, as there were 3 beds in our room so they didn't have to share. Our only complaint would be the bugs and spiders in the room. It is a "cottage style" vibe, so if you are looking for fancy, it might not be your place."
