"One of the worst properties I’ve visited. There was no body soap, no hot water—can you believe that? There wasn’t even a microwave. I tried calling reception multiple times, but no one answered to address our concerns. The views are nice thanks to the surrounding nature, but overall there’s a lot that needs improvement."

"This location is perfect for anyone taking the ferry to or from Newfoundland. Nothing fancy or spectacular. Overall just average. Takes hot water awhile to arrive."

"Clean room, hot tub was on deck. Super relaxing night. Close walk to main lodge for dinner and breakfast. Sauna was really wuick to heat up and had me sweating bullets. Beautiful views in a great location just off the main Cabot Trail road. Highly recommended. Will return"

"No shoes allowed from the front door throughout the hotel. So take some slippers!! The owner makes you feel like you are invading here space and makes you feel like her time is more important than the customers time. There are lots of rules and $100 potential fine if you make a sound or wear your shoes. The owner can be quite sarcastic . Lastly She was upset by the amount paid. I booked online so they set the price not me."

"There was no hand soap in the bathroom, bath towels were miniscule and threadbare, only one hand towel, shampoo was impossible to get out of container, TV was inoperable, bathroom exhaust fan made lots of noise but very little exhaust. Breakfast was available but rather meagre - very little juice, limited bread for toast, toaster was extremely slow, very little milk for coffee or cereal."

"Nice area. Pet friendly, which is great. The cottages are spacious but dated. Some of the cottages and similiar to a duplex, with another guest staying on the other side of the wall. Ours was like this and our neighbors were a bit noisy until 11-1130pm. We stayed here in October so cannot comment on the pool."

"The Inn is a lovely property in a central location. Initially, we were given a room on the ground floor which had a strong smell, the owners upgraded us to a room one floor up. The owners are lovely, live offsite and respond quickly when called. The shower is lovely, great water pressure; ample towels. The beds are very comfortable. The rooms are very clean and well maintained. The rooms are cozy, 80’s decor. Pride of ownership is evident."

"We spent 2 nights at the Telegraph Inn. Our room was on the 3rd floor which luckily I had my husband to carry the bags up the narrow staircase. We had luggage for a 2 week vacation so we had lots of luggage. Wouldn’t be so bad if you just had an overnight bag. Our room was nice, newly renovated. There is no air conditioning. "We enjoyed our night in this cottage. Unfortunately it poured rain the entire time we were there so we didn’t get to enjoy the view, but it was nice to warm up by the fireplace and watch the ballgame on tv. The bed was comfortable. Would recommend this location to others."
