"The Cottage was ideally located for lots of adventures and had a very homely feel. The Cottage has the benefit of off road parking and because there are really good amenities in Braithwaite together with the fabulous walks from the door ranging from a Wainwright to a gentle stroll around the village we didn't use the car. We particularly enjoyed the walk up Barrow and Outerside with our dog Toby. I'm sure we will be staying again."

"Lovely cottage, easy walking into village for food and buses. Lots of lovely walks from the door. Parking for two cars, tight but ok. Problem with log burner but sorted quickly. Nice garden with views."

"This is our second visit to Three Peaks cottage and it was just as good as our first. Lovely and clean with a well appointed kitchen and beautiful location! The views from the garden are spectacular but if you're too tired from a day on the fells to climb the garden steps then the views from the lounge are just as good. The two double bedrooms also have fabulous views that you can enjoy. The village has some great local pubs just a short walk away as well as a coffee shop and local shop....

"A lovely cottage, newly renovated, with everything needed for us as a couple and our collie dog (I could see it being a bit of a squeeze for 4 adults though). It’s perfectly located for great walks from the doorstep and for eating out without driving anywhere. My only very minor niggle was the low level lighting and front hall security lights coming on every time you moved in the living room. "Two separate electrical faults. One caused a flame to shoot out the wall melting the wires in the kitchen socket, the other melted the wires in the immersion heater meaning no hot water for several days. A door fell off in the kitchen, and the upstairs landing storage heater wires had been cut and disconnected so it was freezing upstairs at night. I was told by the electrician that came out several times that the owner of the property liked to ‘tinker’ with the electrics hence the botched up...
