"Property was clean, the hosts were welcoming, friendly and thoughtful. It was exactly as advertised, quiet and conveniently located for the places and facilities we wanted to visit. Local pub was just a short walk and served good food. The property was easy to find given the scafolding currently around the main house, but may be more tricky to locate when this is removed. "I booked one nights stay as my daughter and I were at Badminton Horse Trials. I had not researched the location before going so was amazed to enter the beautiful village of Lacock. "We stayed in the Annexe for just one night on our way north and it was the perfect rest stop. It was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for our brief stay - including milk in the fridge for morning teas. "Nick is such a lovely and helpful host and the place is beautiful, peaceful and has everything you need. Unfortunately it was raining all the time so we couldn't explore the area as much as we wanted to but that's UK weather for you.
I'd happily go back to the cellars and would like to stay at the orangery too. "
