"A really nice overnight stay and dinner at The Swan / Bel and Dragon. The building is delightful - full of beams and historical atmosphere but very well maintained. The bar was certainly very well patronised and appears popular with locals while most of the 9 rooms appeared to be occupied, based on the numbers at breakfast. "Welcoming and friendly reception with time given to explaining the guesthouse facilities etc. Spotlessly clean room and shower room. Spacious bedroom with walk-in wardrobe for storage. Warm and comfortable. Quality bedlinen. Tea making facilities in room as well as access to guest kitchen for preparing food if required. Delicious breakfast preordered beautifully presented. Good WiFi. Quite simply nothing was too much trouble for Natalie who demonstrates quite clearly that she loves her running...

"We loved the features throughout the building. The beams, low ceilings, uneven floors...really kept the character of the building. Rooms were nice albeit a bit strange having the shower in the room and not in the ensuite but good use if available space given grade 2 listed building regulations."
