The beach is just a short (two blocks) walk from your front door and the family-friendly Herb Dolan Park is only a few steps away, offering waterfront picnic tables and a playground.



    At home, cool off with a dip in the pool, stretch out on one of the sun loungers, or throw some burgers on the grill and flip the TV on for a game-day barbecue.



    The walk-up interior has been completely renovated for carefree modern comfort. The full kitchen is appointed with all the major appliances and accessories needed to plan and prepare home-cooked meals. Stream shows and movies on the smart TV or use the free WiFi to catch up on some remote working. The private balcony featuring peek-a-boo water views is a great place to start your day with coffee. This property was exactly as presented in the listing. The private pool was the highlight of our stay because the gulf water was extremely rough from a tropical storm. The location was absolutely fantastic and beach access was secluded, private, and a very easy walk or bike ride away! There is no public parking so you pretty much have the beach to yourself. This location provided access to nearly anything we wanted within a bike ride. The pool deck had brand new loungers and outdoor rocking chairs for a relaxing outdoor experience. The street was very quiet and peaceful. The pool can be chilly because it doesn’t get direct sunlight but for the summer months, it was welcomed! The pool deck gets sun between 1:00-6:00 so you just plan your tanning around that.We had the privilege of finding an open sea turtle nest and got to watch them emerge from their nest right after sunset. Be on the lookout for the many nests at that beach area! It was a once in a lifetime experience . It met our expectations and we will be coming back to this exact property again.

Perfect family vacation spot

This couldn’t be a more perfect location. You’re 3 minutes to the beach, a quick drive to the grocery store and the retail center of the island, and the pool is just what the kids needed after a few hours isn’t the sun and sand. Loved this spot and with any luck, we’ll be back!

Quaint Cottage

This was perfect for a quick beach trip for one adult and 2 kids. The pool was a huge plus. Toaster was broken but they replaced it super quickly. The dryer wouldn’t come on and there was no water pressure in the kitchen both are fixable issues. Otherwise a great stay and quiet location.

I’m honestly disgusted with this stay. This was our second time returning here (last time was better, different manager) and it was so disappointing we will not return. The management team offered no apologies for us having to sleep with termites 2 of the 3 night we stayed, instead we were told it was “annoying”, that was a huge understatement. Having to sleep with hoodies on and being afraid to turn the lights on so we wouldn’t draw them out more. On top of waiting for the pest guy on one of our vacation days, trusted vendor or not, it was uncomfortable having a stranger in our space, all thou he did confirm termites were coming out from right near the head of our bed. Unacceptable that no compensation or apology was attempted. Previous visit we had a wagon and chairs for walking over to the beach, this time NO wagon and only 1 rusted chair in working condition. There were nasty fly strips in the kitchen when we arrived with dead flies all on it. I couldn’t believe it was left like that upon our arrival. It just made the kitchen feel disgusting. The pool never got heated for swimming and again upon arrival the pool was dirty and a dead crab was in it. We removed it. This is new management apparently, and all I can say is, you’re off to a horrible start and we will not stay with any unit under this management again. Please do better for future guests.
