The vacation rental was clean.
I was very happy with the location.
I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental.

Problems began when I tried to dry clothes on our 3rd day & the dryer wouldn't heat.I called office & was told they had known the dryer didn't work last Thurs(2 days before we checked in) & ordered a part.Leah said she would check to see if part was wasn't & time passed.Then when they installed the part on Tues, they found they needed an electrician,thus more waiting.One of the reasons we chose this condo was the w/d.We don't pack lots of clothes, so we rely on w/d.I had to resort hanging washed clothes on the balconies to dry.I certainly didnt want to deal with this on vac. and DIDN'T pay for a view only to muck it up with laundry. I was hugely disappointed by the companies' reaction & communication.They had poor follow up with us and made very little effort to show understanding and try to remedy/make up for the issue.They said I could go to a laundromat and be reimbursed (potentially) or carry my stuff across the island to have someone wash & dry them---what?!?! that's not what I was looking for on vacation.When I asked for extra towels, the owner huffed a bit and said, "well, maybe we can do that."Kindness and concern would have made the whole thing feel much better.Instead we received an attitude of "what's the big deal" & "why are you bothering us" from the owner of Island Vacation top it off, we were gone from the property for about 36 hours & came back to find dryer still unplugged so we assumed it wasnt working.I went ahead & washed more clothes,hanging them out to dry (it was before 9 am).I called company at opening & they told me that dryer was fixed while we were away.Why couldn't they have communicated this?They gave us a $100 gift card for local restaurants which was nice, but just didn't fully make up for the imposition & stress.Good communication & letting us know of problem before check in should have happened.I do not recommend this business.
