Big Disappointment
Find another place. We had no hot water from Monday check in til Friday evening. The hot tub was out of order the entire week and never did get fixed. We were told waiting on a part but our week came and went without using it. No internet when we arrived and the manager wanted people inside our unit to make repairs which we were uncomfortable with, since we had valuables. He insisted so we relented. Over the week we had spectrum internet guy, plumbers (4 times), an electrician, a maintenance guy to fix a broken curtain rod and wobbly dishwasher.There were ants in the kitchen and we killed three large cockroaches. The internet was restored but the streaming television froze up and had to be restarted multiple times (over 20) The owner refunded 10% of our fee, but we told him we weren’t satisfied and wanted 1/3 of the fee refunded. He accused us of extortion and threats when we reminded him that we would make a full and honest review. He initially agreed to 1/3 refund but demanded a positive review or no money. We refused to lie on the review and he rescinded the offer and cut off communication. We would not stay here again and we would whole heartedly ask you not to patronize this owner. There are plenty of other places on the island. We have never asked for a refund when staying at a VRBO and believe me when I tell you this is uncomfortable to write. Other issues: smelly trash cans by the unit, only 1, not 2 pools as advertised and it was 140 meters away.
