"The rooms were clean; however, when I checked in, the front desk told me the elevators were not working and handed me keys to the third floor, noting this was the second time in a week and a half. When I asked if a room was available on the first floor, I was told no and was pointed to the stairs. My husband and I went back to our car to get clothes for one day and walked up three flights of stairs; unfortunately, I had surgery in July, and just one flight was a killer. "I’m forever blown away by the cost to cleanliness/quality of hotels in Montana. They’re the most run down, yet most expensive hotels I stay in each year. This one is fine. Staff was nice, Rooms were small and not confidently clean, window on the ground floor didn’t lock, and all this for nearly $200/night. This is a $99/night hotel at best anywhere else. I just don’t get it. Same goes for all the towns in Montana we travel to for our annual summer/fall race series. Real bummer."
