Luxury designer Southern Highlands accommodation
Located in Burradoo 5 minutes drive from Bowral's main street, in The Southern Highlands, 90 minutes drive south of Sydney. 16 mins from Bendooley Estate or 12 mins from Centennial Vineyards.

Arafel Park features a fully renovated luxury 1930's main residence, seperate servants cottage, pool and 2 acres of stunning cold climate estate grounds.

With 6 bedrooms, sleeping up to 14 guests, The Park is perfect for large group bookings including wedding and bridal accommodation.

Perfect wedding getting ready location!

Beautiful property with manicured gardens perfect for your wedding party accomodation. The property provided so many spots for us to get ready in and take photos. It was clean, comfortable, and had everything you needed. Host provided bread and a bottle to bubbles which was a bonus! You will not regret staying here!

Accommodation for Bridal Party

Perfect spot to host the bridal wedding party in the lead up to our wedding. Arafel Park had everything we needed, we were getting married at Bendooley Estate and this location was so convenient and had so much space available for all the family. Beautiful grounds, beautiful house. Couldn't have asked for a more lovely spot to wake up on my wedding day.

Absolutely amazing property

We hired this place for the morning of our wedding and it was such a beautiful place. The inside was so clean and well maintained with beautiful decor. So many photo opportunities both inside and out. Would recommend for families and for other wedding parties!!

Perfect venue for a big family

The property was the perfect size for the whole family who stayed for 2 nights to attend a wedding. The elders stayed in the main house while our family of five stayed in the smaller cottage. The owner was very helpful and accomodating, answering our calls and questions regarding our stay. The house/ cottage was clean. It was 15 mins away from the wedding venue. We would come back and stay again next time we are in the area and in a big group.

Family Wedding

For our son's wedding, we stayed with our family in the main house and my son stayed in the cottage onsite with his groomsmen. Being December, the pool was a handy spot to cool off. The house and grounds were perfect for pre- wedding photographs. Overall, we couldn't have chosen a better place. Very happy with everything.

Fabulous place

I would definitely recommend this place for bigger groups. The only thing you need to really pick up on is that two of the rooms are 'adjoining' but what they don't say is that they are adjoining with a light curtain. it would be fine with a family but it was a bit awkward with two of our couples but they got over it. Any recommendation I would make to the owner would be to fill that in and if you want it adjoining still - add a door. really lovely place though and despite the adjoining room - we would still go back there.

Long time friends

We are a group of 9 school friends who have known each other for 50 years. We get together all over Australia twice a year. Our stay at Araceli was wonderful. Beautiful property with adequate bedding for us. Warm and comfortable. Beautiful grounds as well. Highly recommend for a large group or family

Perfect property for my daughter’s pre-wedding preparations

Our family, my daughter and her bride tribe loved our 3-night stay at Arafel Park. From the beautiful and extensive gardens to the charming architecture and relaxed yet elegant country styling, it was the perfect place to get ready for and recover from a Southern Highlands wedding. Plenty of space for a large group to spread out in the house and separate cottage, as well as ample parking. At one stage we had our 6 cars plus another 6 for all the makeup artists, photographer, etc. All the amenities to make you feel at home, and great photo opportunities at every turn. We’re already trying to think of an excuse for a return visit in the near future.

Beautiful as always.

This is our 3rd year staying at Arafel House for our family catch up. Grandmother, her 3 children & their children under one roof. This makes grandma very happy and we love it here. Stunning gardens, beautiful home with plenty of bedrooms and space for the kids outside. I have absolutely no complaints and will be back again next year for our annual trip. Thank you Hayden for being so accommodating.

The perfect family holiday home

Arafel Park was an ideal setting for a family gathering in the Southern Highlands. Both the main house and cottage are beautifully characterful and provide flexible accommodation and entertaining space.

Short stay At Arafel Park

Arafel Park, is a large comfortable house with an adjoining cottage. The main house has well appointed kitchen and new bathrooms Comfortable beds and bedrooms, each with beautiful outlook to a the attractive well maintained garden. As a group we were disappointed with the cleanliness of the property and in particular the cottage which is in need of a new bath and repainting of the rooms.

Beautiful property

The property and its gardens and woods were beautiful. The house and cottage are cosy, clean and pretty well stocked. The hosts are quick to respond to messages. Also it's only a short drive to Bowral which is great too.

Perfect Accommodation for Wedding Party

We booked Arafel park as accommodation for our Wedding in Bowral. We wanted to stay with all of our wedding party. The seperate Servants Quarters made it great to seperate the bridesmaid and groomsman. The only thing is that the Servants Quarters were a bit smaller than we expected. The grounds are beautiful and make for fantastic getting ready photos/pre-wedding photos. The property managers Hayden and Alischa were amazing, respond really quicky. Absolutely amazing.

This property was amazing! The grounds were immaculate and the surroundings beautiful, The only fault I would have is that there were lots of dead flies on windowsills and numerous plates and pots that were in the cupboards were not well cleaned. Otherwise a peaceful wonderful stay.

Interesting house set in magnificent mature gardens

The house was spacious and well equipment. There were a number of different areas for sitting and chatting with friends both inside and outside the house. Gardens were gorgeous with large mature trees as well as many roses and other flowering plants.

Beautiful property

Arafel Park is a beautiful house set in an idyllic garden. It was so wonderful to stay here especially for the wedding bridesmaids party to get ready at and for the pre wedding photos to be taken in the garden. It is spacious and extremely comfortable for all of us to stay together with enough rooms and comfy lounge areas to spread out in. Perfect!

Beautiful Country House

We stayed here for our daughter's wedding that we held in Berrima. It was the perfect house, to accommodate the bridemaids, and then our extended family. It did get a little hot with the glass sunroom, so I think it is the perfect winter house. Overall though, it was beautiful and contained everything we needed for a wonderful long weekend, and only a 7 minute drive into Bowral.
