Looking for a quaint "The Little Easy" with Caribbean comfort? PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE LISTING. IF YOU BOOK WITHIN THE 60 DAYS YOU ARE BOUND TO THE BOOKING. If this is a concern we recommend Travel Insurance.

Welcome to your dream destination where views and amenities abound! This cottage is perfect for two and will accommodate up to four adults with guest 3 and 4 in the loft queen bed. The Little Easy is 100% yours for the entire stay and not attached to another house. All Children or young adults must be 12 years old or older, no exceptions! The second Bedroom requires going up a ships ladder to access the loft bedroom. This bedroom is two levels from the Master bedroom and only accessed outside if trying to get to the master bedroom from the loft level!
A full kitchen can accommodate everything from gourmet creations to simple, yet elegant. The upper deck provides a casual seating area coupled with "al fresco" dining for four while the lower sun deck is just outside the Master bedroom; both providing a scenic view of the sailboats coming to harbor in Coral Bay. The Master bedroom (Queen Bed only, VRBO can't seem to fix the verbiage saying King) is separate from the living area downstairs. There is Air Conditioning in the Master Bedroom. The provisional beach chairs and floats are yours to enjoy as you explore this beautiful island. Most beaches are a short 10-15 minute drive where as most restaurants, bars, and a grocery stores are a short 3 to 5 min drive.

You need to rent a Jeep or 4x4 like for you trip. Taxi's are few are far between and very expensive.. You can Google "car rental St. John USVI". We recommend Courtesy car rental, they have a web site.
If your booking is less that 60 Days out you should reserve a Jeep before booking the Cottage as you may be left walking if you do not! The Island only has so many Jeeps!

Laundry room is only available for stays of 10 nights or more, no exceptions.

The Sunrise is a must see

The view over Coral Bay is incredible. Itā€™s worth getting up each morning in time to see the sunrise from the top deck. The Little Easy had everything we needed for our trip. If you choose to cook your own meals; the kitchen is well equipped and the grill on the lower deck looked practically new. We had a great time and plan on returning!

Amazing house! Amazing stay! Amazing location!

The Little Easy is so lovely I almost hate to review it and let others know how wonderful this gem is! The communication was great from the time we booked to when we arrived. The property manager, Jeremy, met us because it was dark and helped lead us to the house. He was so nice and super helpful! The house was amazing! The pictures do not do it justice! It was clean and looked newly updated. There was a perfect number of towels (bath and beach) since we did not have a washer to last the 5 days we were there. The house also had everything you could possibly want (blender, crockpot, pots, pans, etc, more than my own home!). No air conditioning in the upstairs was totally fine. We stayed cool by opening the doors and windows, which we actually prefer in St. John. The new grill was also great. We used it for a few nights since we cooked about 50% of the time. Although there is no need to cook if you don't want to, there are restaurants a short drive down the hill. Literally, the driveway is right next to the grocery store and Coral Bay shops. The best part...the covered deck! I cannot say enough about the beautiful view! Some nights (and days), we just sat and relaxed on the comfy furniture and had every meal outside at the dining table! Thank you so much for letting us enjoy your house!

Paradise Perch Over Coral Bay

This was our second visit to the Little Easy, and I'm sure won't be our last. It's a comfortable, homey, conveniently outfitted place with everything you could need for a stay on St. John, including plenty of cooking/kitchen gadgets, extra sunscreen and bug spray, and lots of snorkel/beach equipment. The views of Coral Bay are just breathtaking, and the location allows for easy access to the south and east end beaches, and to the restaurants and shops just at the bottom of the hill. Property managers were helpful and responsive. A great value!

Easy living at The Little Easy

My husband and I spent six nights here. The views from both decks are absolutely amazing and offer cooling breezes . The kitchen was well equipped, and made breakfast and lunch very easy. We did not take advantage of the gas grill on the small deck in the back because we chose to eat out for our main meal. One of the restaurants we would suggest you try is called Rhumelines. it was a little pricey, but the meals were delicious and well worth it. One day we rented a 12 foot zodiac with a 25 hp in Cruz Bay & were able to get to some beaches that you would not get to using a car. we snorkeled add a few beaches and saw several types of colorful fishes in coral and two large turtles. We brought our own snorkeling gear, but our place had a great supply of snorkel gear as well as beach chairs & umbrellas. We will never forget the gorgeous aqua and deep blue colors of the water. I slept in the bedroom above the main living area. I am 4ā€˜11ā€œ tall and I had to be very careful two hunch over to avoid bumping my head on the lower part of the ceiling. Overall, though we could not have been any happier with the location of this special place.

Wonderful place in Coral Bay. We had everything we needed during our stay. Bed is very comfortable. He had plenty of beach gear too. We have stayed in other places in Coral Bay but this has been the best!

Great stay!

I stayed in the loft room and my mom stayed in the master. It took a while to get used to the sounds of the wind and nature, but after that we slept well. The Loft area is a little warm without the AC but itā€™s manageable. Gorgeous views from the top floor. All around great stay!!

Wonderful to get back to St. John!!

My husband and I are long time visitors to St. John and we always stay in Coral Bay. This was our first time back since the start of the pandemic. We were sooooo happy to get back to St. John and The Little Easy (TLE) was a perfect match for us! The view is amazing. TLE is well maintained and comfortable. AC in the bedroom provided great comfort for sleeping and there are wonderful breezes through the rest of the house. Dave Knight, property manager, was pleasant and responsive. We highly recommend this property!

I wouldnā€™t recommend renting this property because the water is scarce ( no laundry and I wasnā€™t supposed to flash toilet to conserve water). The owner is encouraging jeep instead of car rental but intentionally excluded the fact that the super steep switchback subdivision road leading to the rental require above average driver with steel nerves. The area around rental stinks with marihuana from other houses. The main road is full of potholes. The master bedroom mattress is old and dipped to the middle.

Even better the third time

We stayed at TLE twice years ago, before it changed to a full-time rental, and were thrilled so see it back as a vacation rental again. It was (and is) our favorite place on St John. The new owner made tons of upgrades and it's now better than ever. The pictures only tell part of the story. The view is much more impressive in person and the upper deck is a perfect place to hang out in most any weather. Even the sugarbirds like it. And as the other reviewers have said, Dave is an excellent host - very responsive and personable. Couldn't have enjoyed it more.

Beautiful, quiet coupleā€™s getaway

My wife and I really enjoyed staying at ā€œThe Little Easyā€ cottage. It was very clean, nicely decorated and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Itā€™s perched one of the classic St. John hills with spectacular views from both decks with very comfortable deck furniture. We were greeted with a hummingbird and a couple of Goldfinch on our first day which added to the beauty. The location was also close to grocery markets and restaurants. So after snorkeling each day at a different beach, we were able to pick up takeout or buy food to prepare (grill) or shower and eat out. Loved the decks or sitting just inside with the screen door open feeling the Coral Bay breezes. Great getaway!

Wonderful

This is the first time we have stayed in Coral Bay and it was exceptional. Everything in the house was awesome. We were close to the restaurants and markets and didn't have to fight for parking like you do in Cruz Bay. The house was clean and the decor was so cute, but the view, was amazing. My only thought, was if the loft area had an air conditioner, we would definitely stay again with another adult couple. This time we just had my son, so we stuck him up there - it was a little warm.

The house was beautiful and well maintained. We cooked a lot and the kitchen was so well stocked. The decor of the house is very nice and the views are stunning. Our only complaint was the master bed. The mattress is hammocky (slopes to the center) so after two nights one of us slept on the couch. A new mattress would go a long way. In all other ways we loved the house and would stay there again. Thanks to Dave for all of his help.

It was perfect

My husband and I came for 6 days. It was perfect for us - great views, comfortable and lovely. We had great communication with the host. I loved the art, games and many guidebooks. When he tells you you'll need a jeep, don't play around- this is up a steep narrow mountain road. The last night we got a take out meal from a little place at the bottom of the hill and ate it on the porch to watch the stars. The sunrise was incredible too.
