This stunning one bedroom cottage has a name which belies the deep history within it’s walls. Originally part of the early 15th century manor house, the Laundry has the benefit of the reopened archway which is now fully glazed and looks out onto the private patio and garden, with a magnificent Cedar tree at its centre.

The hallway leads to the open plan kitchen/living area, with a very contemporary design in yellow, grey and black, granite work surfaces, gloss finish to the kitchen cabinets, a modern Charnwood freestanding wood burner and large L shaped sofa, all create a unique space. Perfect for that romantic break. There is a glass dining table with Ercol chairs. A Smart TV, 3D Blu-Ray player (also plays DVD’s and CD’s), Wi-Fi and books and magazines provided for your enjoyment.

Winding up the stairs past the modern chandelier you enter the bedroom with a super-king bed positioned within the hand carved oak A frame. With sheepskin rugs on the floor this bedroom will delight.
The en-suite bathroom is fully tiled with a deep bath perfect for relaxing after a day walking in the surrounding hills.
The Laundry is full of character and unique charm, perfect for that romantic break.
SLEEPS 2: Attractive large bedroom, with super-king bed and pretty furnishings including easy chair with matching foot stool.
BATHING: Luxurious bathroom with a bath and shower over, large basin and toilet. Dressing gowns, slippers and soft towels are provided. A hairdryer is provided. Toiletries are by Anne Semonin.
LIVING, KITCHEN & DINING: Open plan living space, with sofa, Charnwood wood burning stove, dining table and chairs. Contemporary kitchen with granite worktop, Neff electric oven, gas hob, microwave, dishwasher, washer/dryer, fridge and freezer. Matching De'Longhi Kettle and Toaster. Professional Cook Ware and Knives. Circular glass dining table with seating for up to four. A welcome package of basic items is provided.
OUTSIDE: At the rear of the cottage is a private enclosed garden with a Kettler dining table and chairs on the patio. Secure, private parking and access to private parkland.
PETS: Two well behaved dogs are very welcome, but not puppies under 12 months of age please. Please contact us if you would like to discuss bringing other pets. Pets are charged at £20 each.
