The extra touches made a big difference. Swimming pool, welcome sign, blue berry muffins, frig, coffee maker, gamesā€¦.all made the stay extra enjoyable.

We stayed the weekend at this retreat for a shopping trip. We were very happy with the location and ease of checking in. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful. They have really thought of everything anyone could possibly need. The room had everything to make your stay comfortable.

We came in for Trade Days and were beyond impressed with Elkin Retreat. The owners are very hands on and have thought of literally everything you may need. Couldnā€™t have asked for a better rental!

Wonderful Place

We enjoyed our stay at Elken Retreat. Our room was so cute with lots of added touches. All the rooms surround a beautiful swimming pool and the grounds are beautiful. Itā€™s very close to Canton Trades Day which was a definite plus. They also provide breakfast on the weekends and that was fabulous! The hosts are so friendly and helpful. We have definitely found a keeper!!

Huge Thanks to the Host Jason & Jennifer. Perfect location, easy access off Interstate 20. We were in town for a wedding and so Happy we found this adorable place. The most comfortable bed, great A/C šŸ˜ Clean, spacious room. Thanks for the treats, bottle waterā€™s. Breakfast was delish !!!! Perfect setting over looking the pool. Highly Recommend Elken Retreat ā¤ļø

Lovely owners and beautiful place

Jason and Jennifer are amazing hosts! They are so welcoming and thought of everything. The little details made our stay extra special. We felt like we were at a friend's house during our stay. The suite was so cute and comfortable. It had a huge shower and the king sized bed gave us a wonderful night's sleep. The pool was gorgeous and we enjoyed being able to come back from a long day of shopping to relax in the pool. Breakfast was amazing both mornings and we enjoyed visiting with Jason and Jennifer as well as other guests during this time. We will definitely book again and again!

Nice and peaceful

We absolutely loved this place. Jason and Jennifer are so great and very friendly. Their attention to detail was great. If you are there for a special occasion ( anniversary, etc) the little extra touches really make you feel welcomed and special(don't want to give away any of their surprises). The breakfast was really good too! I can't wait to go back!

Babymoon/Birthday getaway at First Monday

Jennifer and Jason go above and beyond to ensure you have everything you need. The pictures, though wonderfully staged, donā€™t do it justice. It is a beautiful little property with all the amenities one could want. And the breakfast was amazing! Such a sweet family and sweet place to stay for any type of getaway in Canton. Definitely recommend and will be back!

STAY HERE!! Absolutely LOVELY! Top notch customer service!!! Best massage EVER!

Jason and Jennifer LOVE hosting people. Everything they do, from messaging you as soon as you book to the little welcome message outside the door of your suite when you arrive to all of the little treats left outside your door, presented on adorable cake plates, demonstrates how much they love being in the hospitality business. The room was clean and adorned perfectly. I loved the modern farmhouse decor. The bed was comfortable and we were able to get the room COLD, which is HUGELY important for my husband, who likes it at 65 all the time. Breakfast the first day was muffins and fruit, left outside our door on a lovely, wooden cake plate with glass dome. Breakfast our second day was made to order omelets, bacon, and biscuits & gravy. We got two slices of carrot cake the first night and chocolate chip cookies the second night. The hot tub was nice. My husband soaked in it, while I got the best massage I have ever had...no exaggeration!!! Jason worked me good!! He is extremely talented! Plan on getting a massage, when you say here. Overall, 5 STARS!!! We will be back MANY more times.

Canton's Best Kept Secret B&B

We have no complaints with this adorable B&B, a Hidden Gem in Canton, Tx. The room was just as pictured, clean and well equipped with everything we might need. The owners were attentive and friendly. We will defiantly tell our friends and family about Elken Retreat. Book NOW, you won't be sorry!

Perfect getaway

We had the best weekend getaway at the ElKen Retreat! Jennifer and Jason were the sweetest hosts, and so attentive and welcoming! The attention to detail throughout the property was absolutely perfect! We really enjoyed the list of local things to do and restaurant recommendations, this made our stay even better! To top it off, the breakfast we were served was wonderful and such a fun environment. We will absolutely be back in the future.

We stayed for First Monday Flea Market. Location was awesome. The pool was nice and the beds were so comfortable, not like your typical hard bed you get normally. I have nothing negative to say about this place.

Just Perfect!

We went for a weekend getaway for our anniversary. The hosts were very attentive and helpful with any request we had. The room was exactly as described. Bed and bedding were outstanding. The room was spotless with lots of tiny personal touches. We will definitely be back! PS If you have time for a massage...DO IT!

Awesome Place to getaway
