Wake up in a tropical treehouse just steps from the Caribbean Sea and snorkel the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef directly from your private community dock. Our peaceful Sandy Bay retreat combines lush jungle surroundings, reef adventures, and a pool just outside your door.

The home features 2 bedrooms with king beds and 1 full bathroom on the main level. The loft includes two full beds and a half bath, making it a great sleeping space for kids or teens.

Step outside to enjoy the community pool just steps from the house, easily viewed from the screened-in lanai in the back. A short walk through the property leads to the private Sundancer dock and pergola, where you can relax, watch sunsets, jump from the dock, or enter the water using the steps for snorkeling.

Just a short swim from the dock is the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef, where you can snorkel vibrant coral and tropical fish without needing a boat.

The beach is only a 5-minute walk on the property, and for scuba diving, Blue Island Divers is a short stroll down the beach.

Important Home Notes

Air Conditioning
The home uses mini-split AC units located in the downstairs bedrooms. To conserve energy on the island and keep the system running efficiently, we ask guests to use the AC primarily at night and only with bedroom doors and windows fully closed. During the day, the home is designed to take advantage of the island’s natural breezes.

Power on the Island
Like many Caribbean islands, power outages can occasionally occur. These outages are typically brief but are part of island life in Roatán. The home does not have a backup generator, and we encourage guests to plan accordingly and enjoy the slower island pace if an outage occurs.

Nightly Security
For added peace of mind, the Sundancer community provides nightly security patrol from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM.
