"What a wonderful place!!! Our family of 4 (13 yrs and 10yrs) loved staying at this resort! So much to do. Free activities along with extra for a bit extra. Had BBQ dinner buffet served by the owner of the resort. Very friendly staff and the lodge we stayed in was very clean. Beach is great for all ages and free kayaks and canoes were the cherry on top. Thank You!!!"

"We enjoyed our stay at Vacation UniquEly! We spend a lot of time in Ely and this was our first time staying here. We loved the location! The cabin was so clean. The space was perfect for my mom and I to have some privacy from each other at night but still be close. The fridge was a nice size for being a mini fridge. We had everything we needed for a long weekend."

"Fabulous stay! They had great beds and endless blankets! Great dock for fishing our having a pontoon/boat rental. Sauna was awesome!Main level had a full bathroom and queen size bed bedroom. Upstairs had a king with 2 kids beds and a cot bed, again with plenty of blankets and sheets!It was so peaceful couldn’t really see the neighbors and it was just amazing to see how dark the sky can get into seeing all the stars.Perfect stay for a family! "

"Perfect for a solo retreat! I needed some relaxing time alone in the woods (in a beautiful maple forest, no less), but still wanted to be somewhat close to civilization, and this was the spot! I got such refreshing, restful sleep every night in this absolutely quiet, tiny (but airy) playhouse of a cottage, thanks to the super cozy and comfy bed! It was all just so sweet—even if, as I did, you just want to hang out and read as you listen to the rain all day. Grand Marais is only eighteen minutes...

"It's a really cool spot back in the woods but close to a lot of parks and Grand Marais. The roads are gravel, but pretty well graded. It has good power and lots of cozy additions like throw blankets, nice chairs, a great fire pit, and a really cool upper deck to have breakfast on. We didn't use the grill, but there is one there.The sauna is pretty nice. It's close to the house, but far enough away that you have privacy while sharing it with the other cabin. "What a lovely, cozy, serene, and dog friendly eco friendly cabin to relax at! The loft bed was super comfortable, the small kitchenette was perfect for making your own meals, the sauna was a great option to do some self care, followed by an outdoor shower! Campfires, stars galore and a great deck to enjoy facing Lake Superior! Always appreciate a dog friendly spot that charges a reasonable fee. "We had another great week at this fun cabin! Simple, clean, low key, and right on the water. "

"We loved Jo's place. Very comfortable, and "easy to operate" because she gives great instructions. The location was fantastic. We enjoyed a bonfire out back, and spent a lot of time on the back porch, or in front of the stone fireplace. We made all of our breakfasts and a few meal there. The kitchen is well stocked with useful tools and appliances. Highly recommend it to anyone!"

"Really nice small cabin perfect for a couple or small family! The views were beautiful and at night it was pitch black! We were able to find a nearby camp with a shower so everything worked out great!"

"I took my girlfriend there for weekend retreat exploring the nearby waterfalls and border. All within a short drive. The cabin is very cute, cozy, and peaceful. Gorgeous night skies. The only negative i can think of was the driveway. Extremely steep. Must have all wheel drive or 4x4. But, to be fair it does mention that in the description. "

The check in process was a little rough but no fault to Tanner or Silka as we just never recieved the email from vrbo.Great cabin, great location especially if you're there for the atv trails like us!Tanner and his wife Silka were great host and very hospitable!
