Conveniently located in the heart of downtown Boston at Lewis Wharf, this boat is just steps away from the New England Aquarium, Quincy Market/Faneuil Hall, the North End, Boston Garden, a public ice skating rink, and countless other things to see and do.

Short walk (less than 10 mins) to Aquarium, North Station and Government Center subway stations

Street parking is residential only, you must park in a lot. Lewis Wharf Parking is the closest parking option, please see them for rates.

The boat is lovely and very centrally located. We had 2 adults and 2 children and it worked out great but might be tight for more adults. The few issues we had were quickly remedied by the rental people who were very responsive. I would certainly recommend this to families with children. Unfortunately the weather was too cold to enjoy the upstairs deck.

While the houseboat was clean there are some serious structural issues with the property. I speak as a yatch owner, do speak from experience. Let’s start:1. The boat is taking on water from the port side, this is either saturated pontoon or hull issues as the boat slants to port side! This is not tide nor tie up issue nor weight distribution.2. With slant water in shower builds up in corner, corner floor to right of shower entrance is rotted!3. Out door light does not work, serious safety issue.4. While the floors have laminate cover there are soft spots in the floor near entrance door and forward stateroom, floor literally gives way when walking.5. Mattress covers all plastic, not conducive to sleeping well as it sounds like your sleeping on a plastic bag, there are much nicer mattress savers that could be used.6. Night stands are in poor condition and need to be refinished, simple sand, stain and varnish.7. Area rug in salon, old corner turned up, trip hazard. 8. Kitchen bar stool should be two only one, not sure where the other stool went to.7. Coffee machine did not work, sent email, never received a response.8. Side of boat on starboard side is pulled apart! It’s ashamed as this houseboat is in a great location, however it is clear that it is not being properly maintained and for the nightly rate there should be attention to detail. Pictures have been taken would be happy to share!!!

Great location and unique experience. You are in the heart of the north shore. 10 minute walk to Hanover Street for Mikes pastures. 5 minutes to Paul Revere, 5 minutes to the long wharf and aquarium and 15 minute walk to the Boston Tea Party. You’ll be right across from Boston Sail Loft with the best clam chowder we’ve ever had.Location is the best, but set your expectations for a house boat. You have a great deck up top. You’ll need to walk a ways with your bags and if they are heavy with rollers, they won’t work through the rock paths to the dock. Bed was comfortable. They use a plastic cover on the bed, which makes a lot of sense, but if you run hot, you’ll want to sleep on a couple of blankets as it holds the heat. Again, my expectations were for sleeping on a boat in a dock, so I feel like I knew what to expect.The host was in contact and very clear on the rules and expectations. They made it a very easy experience. Thus 5 stars and would stay again!

So glad we chose to stay here! Houseboat was roomy, had everything we needed. Enjoyed dinner on the roof deck, amazing city views. Checkin was easy, parking right next door was convenient. Highly recommended!

Great way to stay in Boston! It was clean and up to date and near everything North End. Parking was so easy. Keep in mind you are on a boat - I would suggest a pump out after each stay. I will book again the next time I’m in Boston.

Great location

Check-in was easy. Great location. Patio deck was really nice. Accommodations were fine. Small bathroom/shower but it definitely served its purpose. Way better than staying in a hotel room. Would stay here again.

Great Location!

We stayed with our family of 4 - had a great stay. The location is perfect. We would definitely stay again. Our only issues were that the bed in the 2nd bedroom is pretty small for 2 adults and the fold out couch was not comfortable for sleeping and only had room for 1. Also, the boat listed a bit. It could use some large bowls in kitchen.

Toilet Overload

It's been 10 days since my trip on the lopsided boat. Finally feeling good enough to write. Got very sick with respiratory issues and chest tightness issues due to gases in the air from tank NEEDING to be pumped. We walked into a rancid smell bc toilet not closed properly. Boat was leaning very bad, had to buy Bonine to try to walk in boat. I contacted BHW Sat morning and they said, I quote, "It may be that your tank is full. We will send maintenance to go check on it." I contacted them Sunday morning bc boat is bad. You couldn't get up from couch, water in shower is overflowing due to tilt and when you are upstairs sitting and go to get up, you can almost go overboard. Also getting up from bed can cause you to fly into closet due to the lopsidedness. I booked this in Jan, couldn't wait for this trip and while paying over 800.00 a night you can't pump out the tank that I have to smell other people's waste and try to walk in the boat? They did respond back and asked me to vacate and that they will completely refund me. Now I just got to Fenway when I received the email and by the time I got back, 6pm, where am I going to go when I am checking out in the am? They responded back and now said, "we cannot fully compensate if you continue to stay, we can offer a discount but not a full refund" I was not asking for a full refund but some type of compensation for such a terrible experience and guess what? CRICKETS!! Bad bad experience!!

Great spot in the heart of the North End of Boston! Able to walk to all the major tourist destinations. The spot is in a gated marina, with beautiful views of the adjacent yacht club, city lights, and harbor traffic.

Disappointed for the price

There is only one couch that 2 people can sit on. Need better casual seating. 2nd bedroom is very small and better for one person. Toilet has a very bad odor. The boat stayed tilted to one side. The roof deck furniture was in rough shape.

wonderful experience!

Our first stay on a houseboat was delightful. The walk from the car to the boat was shorter than expected. Temp was 80 degrees, so we wasted no time going to the roof deck. It was heavenly! The photos were a perfect match to what we found, very comfortable. We had full moons visible from our bed, and a gorgeous red sky at sunrise! The only problem we had was transportation to our engagements. We had no idea that taxis just do not work in Boston. Friends helped with Ubers, and we will have the app next time we are in Boston.It was easy to access the wharf from the highway and the pre-paid parking worked great. We are recommending this location to all our friends!

Great Experience

I loved the location. I was able to walk all over downtown. It was nice to go back to the boat and be able to relax and not be in a hotel room. The area is quite and safe.

Great spot

Enjoyed our quiet, off season stay on the houseboat. The deck was a great spot to watch the ferry boats. A pretty view day or night. Compared to a sailboat, the shower and bathroom were roomier than expected. A short walk to the NE Aquarium, Haymarket, Quincy market and the North end for great food.
